Hello ladies - I'm sorry - I haven't been around for a few days - I keep finding myself getting really far behind on the thread - then feel bad because I haven't got the time to read through everyone's posts - so give up and don't post!! Anyway - I'm going to try and keep up I promise!!! So what has been going on - have I missed anything?????? My sizzix order arrived today - I ordered 5 dies in the sale - but seeing as though I haven't actually ordered a die cutter I'm a bit stuck!!! I was going to order a big shot for my birthday (April), but now I'm thinking that April is too far away to wait!!!! I haven't really bought anything else - only some bazzill cardstock - which doesn't really count as its a bit boring!!!!

Rainmac - that is fantastic news about your Mum - I'm so pleased for your family!!!!

    Tomsmum - happy birthday!!

SaucySecrets - I've got a few bits on my blog that I've made with my bind-it-all. I've made quite a few notebooks using coasters as the front and back covers, or just bits of cardboard. For the inner pages I bought a huge pack of printer paper and just cut it up with my guillotine. I'm thinking of making a mini scrapbook for my friend with it at the minute but I haven't got very far - okay I haven't even started it yet!!!

I vaguely remember someone asking for the best place to buy bazzill cardstock - I either use creative craft world - but I wait until she has a free postage and discount offer on before I order, or papermaze has 20% of everything at the minute and their bazzill is quite a good price to start with.

AARGH just did a really long post and lost it

Thanks for the printer advice - I'll look into the Brother and Epson ones. Ideally I'd like a wireless one so I'll check them out.
flourgirl - sorry you missed out on the Diam cake. sometimes that's my only reason for going there :o
    bunbun - love your cards
rusty - hope your day improves
glittermum - loving your card - you're well named :D
dtb - you must be so proud of your son. His cards are fab :T
paddingtondoo - can I steal your easel card / box pleeease? I was thinking of making one as a valentines card for my OH and putting his favourite sweeties in it.

Glittermum - fabulous fairy card - the glitter looks amazing - really sparkly, and your male card is lovely too - I really like the papers and the circle sentiments.

Dawnteabag - what a thoughtful son you have to make all of those cards - you must be so proud of him!

Paddingtondoo - your easel box cards are amazing - such a clever idea!!! I have a huge phobia of making boxes I always manage to bodge them up.

Ct19720 - I love your new home card - the layering looks amazing especially with the embossed cardstock - and the colours look so pretty together.

Happy Birthday to Tomsmum and FlyingPig :bdaycake:
My boys seem better today, DS1 slept for over 15 hours last night and woke up a changed boy :D He still can't hear very well but think we're on the way to recovery and going back to school on Monday - thank goodness!!! :T :T :T

Mel, HELLO lady, we've missed you. Hope you're ok. Are you still thinking about coming to the NEC in March. I think I can come on the Friday and it would be fab to see you again x

dawnteabag, you must be soooo proud of your son, he's gorgeous and obviously has a big heart x

Flourgirl, I love your pink and brown card, it's beautiful :D So sorry you had a nightmare in Ikea. My OH hates it and will do anything to get out of going - unless I suggest staying for lunch ;) I hate the Diam cake btw x

Padster, thank you sooo much for the box instructions, going to have a go tonight/over the weekend :D

I was going to start a card swap this month on Crafty Place but got sidetracked and forgot about it :o. Would anyone like to take over arranging it/setting themes?
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain
