Oh Louby - what a lovely DH you have too. By the way - I think it's definitely real by now!!! Let us know your section date - we can all pace about when the time comes!
Popkins - I get the feeling you're having fun with your new stash - or am I imagining it????0 -
louby - thats very thoughtful of your other half, you cant have much longer to go now, i was really nervous the night before i was given my section date and as soon as you hear them say xxxxxx it makes it so real cos all of a sudden you know thats when your life will definately completely change forever.
Then i went onto a mad panic thinking arghhhhh i havent got enough time.
DF tried haggling on the dates but the consultant was having none of it. Lily is 9 weeks old on thursday and it has absolutely flown by.
Kim-possible - i got my promarkers off amazon - i bought the manga sets all 3 of them and then, the set with i think 12 pens in as there are a few good colours in. The manga sets has 10 pens plus a fineliner and are only £11.70 a set making each pen £1.17 each - way cheaper than anywhere else. I now have 50 pens.:rotfl:But now i am struggling as to which colour to get next so i might just save up and by them all in one go to save me choosing.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
Furrypig - great challenge cards - really pretty colours!!!!
Rusty - I forgot to add that if you look on their USA website papermakeup sell digital images of their stamps. I like those new greetings farm stamps too although I tried stamping some images the other day with some old ones that I've got and I couldn't get a decent image. Those ones from their site have the cling on them, but I'm sure that the ones that I bought from a uk site didn't. I'll have a look later and let you know! I'm drooling over the new cc design stamps at the minute.
Mrs.Tidge - hope your little one's feeling a bit better today!
Flourgirl - sorry to hear about your dishwasher disaster.
Sunrise - great cards - I'm sure they'll love their box. Congratulations on your sale.
Helping-Hubby - sorry you've been ill - hope you have a fab time tonight!
Popkins - beautiful xmas cards - that penguin is so cute!
crazy_girl - fab idea for a card.
Paddingtondoo - how organised are you????? I really need to get some better storage - especially for my 12x12 papers.
Minimacka - welcome back - I remember the gorgeous mini books that you used to make!
Rainmac - congratulations on getting all those fab prizes, I bet the school will be chuffed!!!
Jailhousebabe - what a fab collection of tattoos!!! I've got one on my shoulder of a honey bee (that's what my name means), but I've had it that long it looks like a blob now (I think). Yep it was me with the embossing - you cover the image in ink from a clear ink pad and then sprinkle clear embossing powder over it and heat - you do this a couple of times - it looks really effective!!!!
Louby-Lou_Lou - what a lovely OH you have!!! Do you fancy swapping????0 -
JHB I love the cherry tattoo - they're addictive aren't they? I have small cherry blossoms on my back and interlinked hearts on my wrist. I felt sorry for my OH who had these tribal wings done in one 6 hour sitting:
Bless him he was sore after that! Apparently it's still not finished though
princesswoo the stamped images came today so thank you. I can see myself buying some of those stamps as they are soo cute especially Hope and the Wedding Couple. Yours were posted out today x0 -
Thanks Melissa - luckily I bought some clear embossing powder too
Lei - My cherries took about 40 minutes and the one in my ear less than 5 to draw and colour in. I didn't find them painful, but don't think I could handle 6 straight hours!
princesswoo - I didn't realise your baby was so new! I'm surprised you find any time to craftsome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Flourgirl sorry never thought you might only have a small kitchen. Our was quite big and had only been down 3 weeks cost us over 600 pounds but the insurance company sorted it for us.
lovely tatoos ladies but i;d be too scared i don't do pain lol.
Louby hope all goes well and you get a date your happy with. when i had the twins they told me on the thursday i would be having one and did it next afternoon.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
New challenge finish birth sampler by end of the month
No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Princesswoo - I didn't realise either that your baby was so young - my new addition - Elliot was born on the 2nd August and I'm finding it hard to get anything done - especially since I'm bf!0

She is my 3rd so i have learnt many a lesson. And my other 2 help a lot - although sometimes its a hindrance. By 8pm she is in bed so we still get a few hours to ourselves.
I have 4 big tattoo's and i'm currently designing my 5th to celebrate Lily's birth. Many tattoo parlours now offer you an anesthetic cream, so you dont feel a thing, but as much as i hate the pain - you have to feel it to appreciate your new artwork.
Here are just 2 of mine, This photo was taken minutes after the butterfly was fininshed. My mum then took my design and went and had the same one done - cheeky.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

:eek: I'm a comper! It's my other hobby - I spend hours in there. And definitely a crafter.... saying that I only mainly go in, enter the comps and say thank you if I win something. I gave up posting comps I found as they were nearly always dupes - think they mean it as it's a duplicate, already posted
they are hot on it cos if you enter the same comp twice you disqualify yourself
:D
Sorry Whoopidoo didn't really mean it just wanted to cheer Rainmac up (as she had been so nice to me) as there is nothing worse then thinking you are doing something right and someone putting you down (sorry not right words but can' think of what I want to use).
i will now go and remove my foot from my mouth and grovel to you xxxx
Also you wouldn't have been so horrible to someone because you are a crafter (hope I have now taken foot out of mouth but knowing me I have just inserted it further) Kate :hello:0
