I just discovered them too :D Bought some at Ally Pally and everything I've made since has been Glossy Accented - will need a new bottle or 10 by the time I go back in April :D

  • JHB - your tattoos look great - did the ear one really hurt though?

Hi Mumhug - hope things are Ok at the mo for you.

Kim - I can't buy singles, I just don't know where to start so I've just gradually bought a few sets. I just bought the autumn, winter, spring and summer sets from Little Claire for £25.

Just remembered I've got a bottle of glossy accents from the NEC - when I get round to making a card again I must try it out! I'm a bit up to my ears in snowman soup and flannel reindeer at the moment!

Craftygranny we only have a small kitchen so dont think it would be worth claiming DH would do it himself anyway, probably only cost about £100 so by the time we have paid the excess it would hardly be worth the hassle. I have been at work today so in the morning I will deffinately post your parcel, would probably be cheaper to hand deliver it as I got a bit carried away :)
  • ok so i txt my hubby this am about the fact he had a parcel come and can you belive he has only just rang me now to say i can open it. How cruel is that! He is on a late today and doesn't get home until midnight. I had a complete carp day on friday from the min i woke up to the min i went to bed with one thing or another and i was was very upset, I so wish i had come to the NEC then none of it would have happened but never mind. So the next morning he went on-line and bought me the pro-markers.
Inside which i hadn't seen this morning was a little note from him saying they were to cheer me up and he loved me ahhh.

So i can use them now :j and they aren't from xmas.

I am slighty nervous, i get my section date tomorrow! it is making it really real now.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

glad to hear it, I had a bit of a play this afternoon when the kitties finally went to sleep for a while! I made a couple of Xmas cards, I got some gorgeous shaker toppers from that £1 stall and I am kicking myself for only getting 1 set!
  • You're all making me jealous now - I wish I'd bought the glossy accents! By the time we saw them though, I'd already spent over my budget. If I see any while I'm on holiday, I'll definitely snap them up. I've been making xmas cards with my NEC stash, but still can't get into my blog. ( If I can't get in by tomorrow, I'll photobucket them and post them here.

I've tried out my heat embossing, to varying success. Melissa - I'm sure I remember you getting a glossy effect with heat embossing? Was it just going over the whole image with clear embossing ink and heating?
Popkins - love your xmas cards, your mum will be very happy I'm sure. :)
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
