Craftygranny - that cake looks amazing - what a fab idea.
Lei - lovely cards on your blog - a great idea to use the ribbon to look like a present.
Rainmac - I have a confession - I pay someone to do my ironing, and I reckon it's the best tenner I spend each week! Apparently the sock monkey's name is Jack - Ewan took him to bed last night and loves him already. WIll be on the look out for some other suitable socks now for Jamie's monkey.0 -
PS - thank you to Stardrops for the inspiration for monkey0

rainmac - ironing ??? Whats that ?? Must admit its something I very rarely do...........always buy non iron stuff that if I fold it right it never need on of those heavy metal things that lurks in my cupboard under the stairs.
Oh dear...........I do sound like a bit of a 'slob'.......:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Errmm confession time i didn't make it i bought it from a lovely old fashioned sweetie shop at the heritage centre where thomas was yesterday. It was £20 but it was huge and no party bags to buy the kids had a whale of a time breaking it up and bagging the sweets to take home. lol.
It was so good i ordered 2 more for my twins who are 18 next month. They don't want a party and are working that day so i'm going to take them upto work for them as a surprise and then stay with them up there for a meal.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Bless her. We have been gardening today:eek: my shoulder is aching now, still another job off the ever growing listJust need to make dinner now.

lei - super cards..............love the teenage one. Where did you get the image from ? Be just right for teenage grandaughter
Thanks -the decoupage is by Tamlyn and cost a £1 from http://www.madaboutcards.com/product.php/15994/1674craftygranny wrote: »Lei that's the kind of treat i'd like a full set of promarkers.
Mrs Tidge . Here is the no cake cake . It went down a treat the kids loved it. My eldest is 30 next year so he wants one now. He was the one who opened this one and was fighting the littlies for all the sweets lol.
That cake is absolutely amazing! It's right up my street as i'm much more a sweetie girl than chocolate.
Lol I tried dropping hints to my boyfriend about the promarkers for Christmas, even telling him Joanna Sheen does gift vouchers, but when I told him how much they cost he thought I was mad! x0 -
What a fab cakeish! - Belated Happy Birthday to Kaitlyn.
No crafting from me this weekend - did go to the papermill shop to stock up on card this morning but then did the ironing when I came back.
My DD had some of those shoes a while ago flourgirl - keep an eye on the secret flap bit where the dolls live though - DD's creased up and gave her a really sore ridge round the back of her feet. Haven't had another pair sinceOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
