Afternoon Ladies,
Just having a quick catch up while DS has a nap! Thank you all so much for your comments on my creations, it does mean alot to me, so thank you!
I'm off to have a catch up on the blogs.
Awh while I remember could someone possibly give me the list I need to include for the stashswap I still haven't sent mine yet:o and I can't get on to crafty place to see what I need to send!
And also can someone confirm how many lots of £2.50's in vouchers do I need to give for the NEC?? Thanks xx
And I'm also looking for the cheapest place for some 12x12 card for my pryamid, called to hobbycraft yesterday and refused to £1.29 a sheet!:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0 -
You must send your stash by: 30th September
What to include:
-6 pieces of 6 x 6 patterned paper
-3 pieces of any size solid paper (no scraps please though)
-8 different kinds of embellishments (for example: stickers, brads, stamped image, adhesive stones, punchies, buttons, etc...).
-1 x 50cm piece of ribbon
- any item of your choice!
Please use the Golden Rule: only send things that you would like to receive yourself.
Ive changed the amounts a tiny bit as i know some people have been struggling with the embellishments
As a special thankyou for letting me set up this stash swap im going to do a little prize draw at the end of the swap, with a little gift for the winning 'couple'
Hels - hope this helps - sorry couldn't change the orange colour.
Just so you don't all think I've absconded with your Christmas cards I'm waiting for the last lot to arrive (posted Friday I believe) so I can take a picture & get DH to do the draw then I can get them sent to the lady in charge.
Now back to work!..........0 -

The cheapest i've seen 12x12 card is 50p a sheet is for Bazzil Basics on GlitterPot. Would it work out cheaper to get the huge A2 sheets? x0 -
Hels, you only need £2.50 for the NEC ticket
What is your pyramid, have I missed something, sounds interesting
My Hobbycraft sells Core-dinations 12x12 card at 49p per sheet. It's fab card, bit thicker than Bazzill.
JHB, done your survey, had to think back a bit as I graduated when I was 21 and I'm nearly 35 now
Well I had a bit of a spend at the craft warehouse on Saturday. With 20% off everything it would have almost been rude not to so I have finally bought myself an X-Cut gullotine :j :j :j. I had a play with it last night whilst watching X-Factor and nearly sliced into my finger  when I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing but I love it, so glad I bought itAlso got some Papermania Xmas papers, 2 Magnolia stamps (boy with lantern and a Merry Christmas greeting) and a Sugar Nellie Xmas boy one, loads of 12x12 cardstock (45p a sheet - 20%
). Had a free cup of tea and lemon drizzle cake before coming home to a messy house but I didn't care as I had my guillotine
Hope everyone's ok. I have thought of the theme for the next card swap over on Crafty Place. It is a lovely one so please do come and sign up in a couple of days and I promise there will not be a weird card shape in sight:rotfl:
Not sure if my little man has slapped cheek. His face is a bit hot and rashy. He seems ok in himself, just a bit tired, he's spark out on the sofa at the moment. Managed to get a GP appointment for this afternoon so hopefully they will be able to tell me. So I had a stinking cold last week and now it looks like Thomas is poorly :wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Aww bless Rainmac I hope you get sorted out at the gp. I hate it when my little ones are ill, always tend to feel useless. In Perfect love and Perfect Trust.0

Flourgirl - love your cute animal card :T
Mrs Tidge - fab sock monkey :T
Lei - lovely christmas cards. I confess I ordered from Joanna Sheen yesterday - but I only ordered 8
Craftygranny - Kaitlyns cake looked amazing and it looks like she had a fab day
Rainmac - Hope your DS recovers soon and you get him sorted at the GP x I don't mind ironing except DH shirts for work - the sleeves drive me mad
Jailhousebabe - hope its not too late but I've just completed your survey, and I had to think back quite a long time
Rusty - gorgeous cards, my fave is the manga one :T0 -
Hello all.............hope you're ok and hugs (((
))) to those who need them.
Another good nights sleep thank goodness........OH only woke up once coughing and spluttering. And thank heavens he's got the 'chefs hat' on again...........I'm so c**p at cooking..........:rotfl:
No exciting crafting today............made some little gift bags for bits I'd already made. Had one lad at home all day which doesn't help.........the 'I'm bored' syndrome bigtime !!!!
Got a meeting in an hour so about the other lad so the whole day seems to be a bit of a 'no-go' as far as 'me' time goes:rolleyes:
Never mind............maybe tomorrow I'll start on some bookmarks...................maybe :rolleyes:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all, been blog hopping beautiful things on all - well done :T

JHB - sorry cant take part in your survey - didnt go to uni (which explains a lot:rolleyes:)
Mary - big hug to you!
Rainmac - ooh snap I too have ordered an xcut guill the 12" one (as have heard size matters;)) Sounds like you have had a great shop!!! I think the elves are around here as well, at hobbycraft getting a couple of bits the other night, thinking of ordering more pro-markers, seen some lovely stamped images on ebay I am watching and also watching a fiskars shapeboss does anyone have any experience of these? Just thinking as an alternative without going to the expense of a cuttlebug/sizzix, until have been doing card making at bit longer?:rolleyes:0 -
thanks for that Lei I don't mind paying 50p per sheet.
Rainmac you haven't missed anything I mean the Traingle gift box thingies! I mastered the bigger size but it uses up just about 12 x 12 and I need about 17 sheets! Awh hope Thomas get's better soon, sending lots of hugs.x
I'm hoping to pick up the x-cut gullotine in the NEC, I really want the 12" one, size does matter when it comes to things like this :rotfl:
