Just having a quick catch up while DS has a nap! Thank you all so much for your comments on my creations, it does mean alot to me, so thank you!
I'm off to have a catch up on the blogs.
Awh while I remember could someone possibly give me the list I need to include for the stashswap I still haven't sent mine yet:o and I can't get on to crafty place to see what I need to send!
And also can someone confirm how many lots of £2.50's in vouchers do I need to give for the NEC?? Thanks xx

And I'm also looking for the cheapest place for some 12x12 card for my pryamid, called to hobbycraft yesterday and refused to £1.29 a sheet!

You must send your stash by: 30th September

    What to include:
    -6 pieces of 6 x 6 patterned paper
-3 pieces of any size solid paper (no scraps please though)
-8 different kinds of embellishments (for example: stickers, brads, stamped image, adhesive stones, punchies, buttons, etc...).
    -1 x 50cm piece of ribbon
    - any item of your choice!

Please use the Golden Rule: only send things that you would like to receive yourself.

Ive changed the amounts a tiny bit as i know some people have been struggling with the embellishments wink.gif

As a special thankyou for letting me set up this stash swap im going to do a little prize draw at the end of the swap, with a little gift for the winning 'couple' roll.gif

Hels - hope this helps - sorry couldn't change the orange colour.

Just so you don't all think I've absconded with your Christmas cards I'm waiting for the last lot to arrive (posted Friday I believe) so I can take a picture & get DH to do the draw then I can get them sent to the lady in charge.

    Now back to work!..........

The cheapest i've seen 12x12 card is 50p a sheet is for Bazzil Basics on GlitterPot. Would it work out cheaper to get the huge A2 sheets? x

Hels, you only need £2.50 for the NEC ticket ;) What is your pyramid, have I missed something, sounds interesting :D My Hobbycraft sells Core-dinations 12x12 card at 49p per sheet. It's fab card, bit thicker than Bazzill.

JHB, done your survey, had to think back a bit as I graduated when I was 21 and I'm nearly 35 now :o

Well I had a bit of a spend at the craft warehouse on Saturday. With 20% off everything it would have almost been rude not to so I have finally bought myself an X-Cut gullotine :j :j :j. I had a play with it last night whilst watching X-Factor and nearly sliced into my finger  when I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing but I love it, so glad I bought it :D Also got some Papermania Xmas papers, 2 Magnolia stamps (boy with lantern and a Merry Christmas greeting) and a Sugar Nellie Xmas boy one, loads of 12x12 cardstock (45p a sheet - 20% :D). Had a free cup of tea and lemon drizzle cake before coming home to a messy house but I didn't care as I had my guillotine ;)

Hope everyone's ok. I have thought of the theme for the next card swap over on Crafty Place. It is a lovely one so please do come and sign up in a couple of days and I promise there will not be a weird card shape in sight :o;) :rotfl:

Not sure if my little man has slapped cheek. His face is a bit hot and rashy. He seems ok in himself, just a bit tired, he's spark out on the sofa at the moment. Managed to get a GP appointment for this afternoon so hopefully they will be able to tell me. So I had a stinking cold last week and now it looks like Thomas is poorly

Aww bless Rainmac I hope you get sorted out at the gp. I hate it when my little ones are ill, always tend to feel useless.

Rainmac - Hope your DS recovers soon and you get him sorted at the GP x I don't mind ironing except DH shirts for work - the sleeves drive me mad

Hello all.............hope you're ok and hugs ((( :o))) to those who need them.

Another good nights sleep thank goodness........OH only woke up once coughing and spluttering. And thank heavens he's got the 'chefs hat' on again...........I'm so c**p at cooking..........:rotfl:
No exciting crafting today............made some little gift bags for bits I'd already made. Had one lad at home all day which doesn't help.........the 'I'm bored' syndrome bigtime !!!!
Got a meeting in an hour so about the other lad so the whole day seems to be a bit of a 'no-go' as far as 'me' time goes:rolleyes:
Never mind............maybe tomorrow I'll start on some bookmarks...................maybe
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
