Sorry JHB can't help I'm afraid. I left school at 15 and got a job as a clerk/typist with a local firm. Hope everything goes ok for you though and wish you loads of luck xx0

Okay I need some help - I brought a Memento Ink Pad as I read in a magazine that it's better for clear stamps than Stazon (and I know you all use it with your promarkers as it doesn't bleed) but it just seems to look watery and pool on the stamp?! I thought it may be because I've used Stazon cleaner on my stamps but that was actually a brand new! x0

Rainmac your Nappy Cake is gorgeous, everything looks so soft and cuddly. I love the cute hippo. I used the same starry ribbon on my sons Wedding cake.
Wife the swing card you made Rainmac is very stylish. The forgotten birthday card is so classy and elegant, beautiful colours.0 -
Okay - I think I'll give up - I've just read through 5 pages and written comments - I just copied them and wend to paste it and all that it had copied was try!!!! AAAhhh . I'm having one of those days - I'll try to remember what I had written, here goes:
Craftygranny - looks like Kaitlyn had a fab day and got some lovely gifts. That cake looks gorgeous!! I'm glad your stuff arrived - I'm sure I'll love your ATC.
Rusty - great cards - your manga girl looks fantastic and I love your muffin card!
Jailhousebabe - I've just done your survey too.
Mary - sounds like you picked up some fab bargains at your street sale, glad to hear your OH is feeling better.
Mrs.Tidge - what an adorable sock monkey - did he take you long to make??? Your swing card arrived yesterday and I love it. Thank you so much!!! Its so clever how it works and I love the colours that you've used. I promise I'll try to get yours sent off to you soon.
Polly - really pretty card - everything matches perfectly, I don't know why you ever doubt yourself - your stuff is always stunning!!0 -
evening all, can't understand where the weekend has gone! was out for most of yesterday, took my mum shopping to Derby in the morning to get her a birthday pressie, then in the afternoon OH wanted to go to a shopping outlet near nottingham. As there is a Paper mill shop there it would have been rude not to let my spendy elves out for one box of paper at least :rotfl:
we then went into nottingham for dinner to Wagamama, I love it there but it was sooo packed. When we were eating our main course an older couple were seated next to us (if you've never been to wagamama, they have long bench style tables so you end up sitting on the same table as about 10 other people, if there's just 2 of you you sit opposite your 'partner'), and the woman said to her husband "oh, what a shame, we can't talk privately now!" :rotfl: I dread to think what they were wanting to speak about!! and when the waitress came over to take their order, the woman asked her if there was anywhere they could sit on their own :rotfl: I found that quite funny, must get out more!
had a nice long lie in this morning and have been catching up on housework and washing/ironing today. My iron has decided to leak whenever I put water in it, so I have to iron everything slightly damp else I can't get the creases out cause it won't steam  must put 'iron' on the shopping list!
lovely cards everyone :T
craftygranny please tell Kaitlyn I am very jealous of her cake and will be showing it to DH coming up to my next birthdaylooks like she had a fab day out yesterday, I love the pics of Thomas
I used to love him when I was little!

Hels - what a great cause to raise money for - good luck. Your creations are all fabulous - my favourites are your thank you card and your calendars.
Flourgirl - what a great card - and such a cute animal image.
Lei-Armstrong - gorgeous xmas cards - your angel one is definately very "elegant" and I love your pressie in a box card.0 -
Oh dear Rusty, poor you. x There is nothing worse than not being able to sleep at night especially when you have 2 young children and you have to do all the mummy things during the day. Maybe when the little one has a nap you will be able to get your feet up and rest. It will be a good thing when the hospital sort out your back problem once and for all, so you can return to normal living without all the pain. I have been there myself and no its not much fun, but stay positive, you will get there in the end, just remember to take care xx0
