We had a lovely day out yesterday went up to Rhyl, dd and dad went up in the sky tower, I voluntered!! to sit with Bailey, the weather was a bit nippy, but gd day out. We even had our hair cuts, £8 for me and dd dry cut!! we pay £24 at home.

DD got a woobly tooth, so its all fun and games, shes a star. She said I'll have to write to the tooth fairy, I asked why, while last time she only left me £1.00 and had £2.00 for all my other teeth, I'm going to ask that she leaves me £3.00 this time........!!

Hi mum2one, when ds lost his tooth he was upset that the tooth fairy took his tooth he wanted to keep it and didnt want money!x

Ah bless him, the tooth came out this afternoon, she comes running upstairs screaming about blood, sods law got the phone on loudspeaker trying to sort out tax credits the poor guy thought she'd cut her arm off!!

The tooth fairy left £3.00...... so shes very happy!!

Got dad well trained him and mum r taking her 2mor to get her feet measured, so they pay!! Bless them they've done it from the start, so takes a bit of pressure off, so thats another couple of hrs study in the morning, sure she'll collar them for a McDonalds.

Bless her she was so worried earlier, about this volcano and all airports being closed, it will be ok for when we go to the Dom Rep next yr!! Never mind Tunisia being cancelled becoz of her measles. I was due to fly to Cuba 2mor (booked it 12 mths ago with some compensation), had about 6 calls from the travel agent started off saying your flights be ok for 2mor..... then maybe be departing a bit later, watching the news and at 1pm they said doubt be open till 2mor, rang agents back, no problem at all.... then at 5.30pm a phone call, any flights departing before 10am, (mine was going at 9.50am), not to bother going to the airport, the flights have been delayed, unless they fly tonight there cancelling 2mors flights......
Then news report 2ngt, from one of their centres, reckon it could be 48hrs before its clear.......
Top that we think Karen might of given me shingles, got the medical book out and looks like shingles, so doubt been going.

    Maybe 3rd time lucky.......

Originally 2002 (when was working), had Kenya booked for March and Goa for Nov, the little blue stick goes blue...... my holidays went all over the place, as I was jabbed up, one of the hols was swopped to Cuba, then 3 weeks b4 due to go, my GP wouldn't let my fly long haul, so I ended up in Cyprus, Turkey and Tunisia twice.....

    Then this time.......

maybe get there by the time I'm 50!! x

Not much here, paid another £130 off the debts, been to tutorial this morning for course, dad drove me, bless him, nearly a nospend day, but spent £5 at McDonalds onway back.

Have just been checking money for the month, and if all goes well, hoping to pay an extra £150 off Capital One (lowest balance), and try and get the rest done over the next 2months, thats the plan.

Off to see travel agent next week, to see whats going on, the flight def cancelled!! think I gathered that, so hopeing to swop it to next year and take dd somewhere, over feb half term, want hot, all inclusive and cheapish......

Seem to be doing well with Open Uni, now ahead on main course, my no 1 course starts 1st May, done 2 weeks work, other course no2 starting that next week, spend a day on it, gd news, is I've got the tutor from the course before, hes lovely, (not that way!!), but he was really helpful, stayed in touch after the last course.

Bailey - its a little b-pop, watching Medium last ngt (taped it early - sky + it), thought I saw the door moving, put itdown to my imagination, no, it was Bailey, dad hadn't shut the door, so he wondered through, sat on the settee and watched tv, when I went to turn the tv off, he sulked........meant going back to kitchen.... He has us exactly where he wants us!! xx

Very pround of myself, how I did it, I have absolutely no idea, but dd had done something to her computer so wasn't picking up wireless, twiddled a couple of buttons, took the battery out, back in, and it worked!!

Would love to say had a no spend day but no- needed school dresses for dd, they were on offer at Tesco £4 each or 2 for £6. Got her 4 dresses, that then turned into I like that tinkerbell top, then some shorts, so hopefully all need for school are some cycling shorts for rest of term.

Off to travel agents Wed, to sort out whats happening over Cuba, know not going, but how far they can change it to the future, was thinking of taking dd to egypt next feb half term, looked quickly, and it looks like could get 7 days for the 2 of us, for what Cuba would of been, if they won't transfer that far, Thomas Cook are refunding in full anyhow, (as travel ins say its act of god -tough luck), so will stay with hol for me +dd. The head says pay the money off the debts, but the hearts sentimental and saying, but you fell....... it was a trip of a lifetime, and technically (you can tell thinking of excuses!!), as it didn't come out of my money, its a bonus.

Had the man out for washing machine this morning, the bearings have gone, its 9 months old, but they have to order a new drum as well, but luckly the parts are in the UK, so hes due back this week or next week.

We've got a bloke coming to do the electrics for mums stairlift by Friday, thats being fitted next Monday, be an absolute godsend, dd bless her, said "when Bailey goes up for a bath can he have a ride on the stairlift!!".......

Guess my money plans for the rest of the month, aren't going to go to plan... but still aim to get Cap 1 finished asap.

The plan for the rest of the week (bar going to town for travel agency), will be study, study, study.

My main course - 2 weeks ahead
Level 1 easy course - offically starts 1st May - done 3 weeks worth of work
Level 2 Money and marketing- have a go at that later this week.

Promised dd she can go to the pics on Sat am £1 films and take her friend, then McDonalds for lunch (got £6 lunchoen vouchers), so be less than a quid to pay, then said her friend can play in the afternoon..... (HELP), compromise as she wanted a sleepover, but I don't want to give up my bed!!
    xx

Well done on the courses and how far in advance you are.
Great news on the way you are paying the cards off.
Hopefully you can get what you want when you go to the travel agent..I'm sure they'll sort something out to your satisfaction.
Have you heard anything from the travel insurance for the other holiday yet(where DD had chickenpox)?

Hope DD and her friend have a good time on Sat ..I found one of those Vue cinemas in the next town so will make a cheap treat for JJ sometime....absolute bargain £1 each...great on having LVs..so will make a nice cheap treat for you.

Next plan of action - weight

I've just ordered an xerise resistance set for the wii....... so that could be fun, and from nafter next week, got to get further ahead with OU, going to go swimming once a week, I weighed myself at vets (tak Bailey for his worm tablest done by weight) , so once he'd finished thought I'd sneak on.....

When I had dd I put on 11lb - she was 7lb 15oz of that, since havng her, esp that last yr or so I have put on 25kg. (Don't know what the lbs are - go by their scales, so ideally I need to shift 50kg....... think is 7stone 11lbs..

But have decided that Monday will be d day..x

Good news - mini good news, the travel agent has sent the note as cancellation, as originally they said no show..... but cancellation strengthens my claim, the forms at the GP so will leave it to Monday then pop up and see if its ready (and how much have to pay for the pleasure of a 2 line report and sig!). so fingers crossed that shoud sale through. Rang the ins company and they have now said its straigtforward, as there was no way I could of gone on hol and left her at home..... so once they get the paperwork in, its about 2 to 3 week turn around for refund, guess the positive have stayed in touch, and theirs notes on my claim informing them what stage I'm at, (over panic mode, but also if theres any issues then at least there have a record).

Didn't get to the travel agents today, so 2mor or thurs and that be next Feb sorted, they said its on their system as a refund, so should be easy to sort out.So fingers crossed.

Know it sounds daft, on one hand I know I'm going to be in debt till Dec 2015 at the latest (coz of the loan, - know financially won't be able to meet their 4 sections that I can pay in full and final settlement - so silly that I can't overpay, but guess thats how hey make their interest). But on the other hand I feel positive as I have finaly accepted the situation, for some reason this lightbulb moment has stuck switched on, everything is planned for payments, so I can just get on with life.

Thats why now I've decided my weight has got to be tackled, in all honeslty I've known that for most of my adult life, esp since having dd, and the after effects that weight piles on, and now its kicked in that I need to do something. I was refered to the weight mgt programme at the hospital, thought great see a dietician, and physio to help with exercises, although the hospital were aiming towards a gastric bypass, (no way), but all the funding got cancelled, so postponed indefinately, I'm top of the list for excercise class in the hydrotherapy pool at the hosp, great - no the polls past it, its going to cost too much to repair but they won't send letters out to that efffect, but I guess its time for me to take action.
I know I babble, just feel insecure at times esp weight etc.
Want to aim to loose 1lb a week, that way got more chance of it staying off, no good me doing slimfast or anything on that lines as soon as you eat normal wham bang its back on.
Thinking thou of doing the special K 2 week challenge as a bit of a kick start, look into that this week. xx
