What fun and games we've had, dd comes home from school with a rash, looked it up in medical book looked like chicken pox, emergency visit to GP, confirmed shes got chicken pox, shes contaigious until they scab over.

Sods law -its nearly school holidays - she usually ill on school holidays

Worst luck - we were due to fly to Tunisia on Wednesday, was keeping it as a surprise for her, arranged the two days off school so we wouldn't have nightmare at weekend at airport.....so cancel everything, claim on the ins, (hopefully that be smooth),

The doc said if it was weekend we were flying she would of seen her friday for a yes/no, but as we were going wed its a big no......... poor kid feals awful, with wed bing my bday... instead of champagne at 25,000ft,be cearal and a yogurt. xx

We've got the calamine lotion dabbing away, bless her, theres another batch came out, shes literally going to be 1/2 body covered with them. Shes not moaned or complained bless her, just wants to cuddled or curled up with big boy (3ft dalamation soft toy),

Her best friends mum, she rang earlier, shes got her 2 oldest (13 +10) they've both got runny noseys, sore throats, fevers, and coughing, her 3rd daughter (dds best friend), shes sickening for something,got a temperature, but pale, very clingy..... everything she said was what dd was like at weekend, so she could be coming down with chicken pox. If she is told dd she can have a chicken pox party!!

My friends who we were due to go to Tunisia with they've gone off on one, couldn't be helped, she sent a text saying, "so much for organising your birthday treat, I'd got champagne and chocolates for the flight, Easter egg for dd, don't worry we're enjoy ourselves.....thanks for letting us down".

I even looked on the net and getting a flight only deal and planned to ask the travel agent to hold our booking so we could the 2nd week, dd in theory would have been clear, couldn't pick up a return flight for under £800 for the 2 of us...... theres no-way I can afford it.

Rang the holiday company, its too late for a cancellation (sorry should I asked for the chicken pox to go away and come back when the schools go back!!), so there trying to do their best and issue me with a no show.....but they can't process that till the 14th Apr when we would of been coming back, if it was £199 we paid I could understand it, but we paid £1,300.

Rang the insurance company, the difference was amazing, you couldn't found a nicer company to deal with, there going to send the paperwork through, and said its about 6 to 8 weeks to get sorted, apparently I was her 10th caller today over chicken pox.

Had to go to town this morning with dad, sort some money out, get me glasses straightened, as Bailey decided they would look better on him.

Brought dd a handbag and purse from Claires reduced to a fiver, she was over the moon with it, and conned!! dad into going halves on Just Dance wii game, got she was so worried as the advert everyone comes in a dances, she was worried the house would be too small, bless her.

Been very productive on the money, opened a new account, and put mystery shopping money in there, usually £12 a month, but it goes otherwise. Just want to at xmas have cash to get dds xmas gifts with.

Did well again, drew some cash out and used that instead, weird but good, could see where it was going, and if anything it made me more careful what I brought.

Got dd a gorgeous Tinkerbell Easter Egg from homebargains, got the egg and a tinkerbell pencil case,but bigger, so sure she'll use that as a make-up bag, x

Had a good day 2day, got spolit rotten, mum + dad got me a new camera (mine broke), and new chain (bailey broke it!), dd got me some pjs and Bailey got me a toilettry set from Body Shop.

I guess she was upset as we haven't seen her since b4 xmas, but just risk taking dd, shes still coming out in spots bless her.

She was so exicted as she had mini fish and chips from chippie for dinner, we were going out, I said I'd be happy with chip shop,but dad (think he got pressured by mum), took me to thepub, had a free bottle wine, thought I'll have a glass and take rest home.......I drank the bottle......I wasn't driving.

Paid another £63 off debts, and I'm even left with £40 at mo,if its still there at wend, pay it off cards.

Going to review my 40 before 40 list and see how much have achieved, and review the rest, help keep me focused on debt free future.

Going to try and get Cap 1 paid asap, owe £300 on that, thats the next aim, then redo snowball, decided to print them off as be quicker debt free dates.

Cars going next week for brakes- HELP-!! x

Been very productive 2day, spent 6 hrs gutting dds bedroom,
wardbrobe
built in unit
2 draws in bed
junk corner
bedside cabnet
draws in wardrobe

Still got top of wardrobe and shelves to do, hopeing that be an hr a max.

She reminds me of my nan, she was a hoarder, and dd is her to a t, lost count after 15 pencil cases, felt like 100 pencils......

She's getting better at last half the spots are now scabs, so calamine lotion to the rescue, touch word shes got no more new spots, shes plastered with them.

Had a call from hosptial mums got to in on 8th for the camera expediture, in theory they say it can be 3 hrs in total, more waiting 20mins with camera, then recovery, but she has to take night bag in just in case.

Its almost as though fate stepped in with us not going away, the good thing is shes gone nearly 12 months since her mini stroke, they base in on 12hr, 24hr, 1 month, 6months and 12 months as trigger points, if she hasn't had another within 12 months, her risk is same as anyones else. But they said they have to keep a stonger eye on her, hence the risk of overnight stay.

Paid another £67 off debts (dads credit card,), but it all helps the funds. xx
