Good news Argos accepted the chair back, so upgraded to a better one, while was there, saw a hoover on offer got £90 off it, reduced from £150 to £60, then ink cartridge (but get that paid back by the Open Uni), but still reckon have £100 left at the end of the month to throw at debts, so fingers crossed.

everything going ok at mo, makes a change for me!! xx

touch wood, the pleasure of the gp 2mor 4 that lovely smear test, kept putting it off, till the nurse rang to see why I hadn't been..... she managed to get me in 2mor... normally you have to wait 2 weeks 4 the nurse!!

Hoping for some nice weather at the weekend, think its tidy the garages up at weekend, (we rent 2 from the council), then taking dd to Ice Cream Farm one of the days, and mums even coming out!! So far.....

She's getting plently of use of the stairlift, its made a massive difference, really given her some confidence back, so all going well..

This is slightly sad, but paid £22 off halifax card, preset for dd as got life of balance, then when paid the next visa bill, take me over 3k paid back this year.... so exicted.

Off to bed, have just spent the last hr trying to sort out my OU qualifications so can get some inbetweens, but its a nightmare, the only option I came up with was to do a sports, fitness and nutrition course........ bar the fact that I'm on crutches, overweight, and completely inactive, nutrition and meal planning, debating whether thats a swear word or a word I don't know!!! xx

What an afternoon, it could only happen to me......... I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

I'm a big wimp when it comes to "those things", made worse as 10yrs ago I had pre-cancerous cells, had treatment and all clear,but on yearly recalls, so finally 6mths later, went 2day, tied in with swopping my iud..... It took the nurse and the doctor 45mins to just get the smear done, apparently I have an arkward shaped area.......... so got to go to family planning clinic to get the iud done, which they gave me to take away, in a box 18in long, 2in wide..... no carrier bag....

The icing on the cake moment,---- put new pair of knickers on, last of pack of 3, thought the label was itching......it wasn't the label it was the packaging from the knickers, had the doc and nurse it stitches....... xx
