    Xmas Saver!
DD and dad have gone to the carnival, was going but its a pain putting chair up, then getting back, I saw back when I was a kid, so shes happy.

So funny talking to the boss of the site tonight, and our fav caravan is going to the caravan heaven... miss it, sounds daft, but bless them there giving me some keys 2mor to see whether any of the other ones that are doggie vans are suitable for me + mum to get in + out of, sounds daft but not many sites would do that, good excuse to have a nosey, then part 2 of the hol, the cottage.

Be lost as its internet black spot, so have plan B, started knitting a poncho for cousins kids xmas prezzie, and then do a cardi for other cousins baby, maoney saving and saving me pigging out on choc.

As for money, not stressing anymore, just sent off the income + expenditure, what I haven't got they can't have and at least trying my best to get it sorted. Next block, is IS had a call today got to go in end of Sept as my IS ending due to dd being over 7, so its either job seekers, or look into esa. so more fun + games, but not worth worrying over till nearer the time. xx

The cottage was amazing, - thou thought was in a sauna.... the heating was coming up, thick quilt, and DD like a radiator, she was bunked up with me.

I literally didn't want to come home, it was everything, (bar the rich man), no internet reception, didn't miss it after 1st week, no phone, - DD loved it, most nights she'd go with dad he use to take Bailey for a ride in car, and then a walk on the moors, she loved it, the camera hasn't been used so much!! Bailey loved it, he had a kiss off a pony.

We had some great outing, Buckfast Abbey, Bodmin Jail, (thou mum and I were Bailey sitting, and dad took DD round), mini stream train, (free childs ticket), very mse as the ticket valid all day,... so I did 1st trip, then swopped and she went with dad.

I got the phonco finished, 4 baby boleros, started a crocheted blanket.

Bailey was so funny, he was going to bed for a lie down as soon as we got back... he's spolit.

Money - A little got paid off not as much as wanted to do, but every penny helps, the loan still digging heels in, if I haven't got it they can't have it.

Court Date - Some good news, they've changed the court date to the original Oct date, not looking 4ward to Mon as DD has to see cafcass as he would (should) have replied to her letter, just trying to get through till then.

It sounds daft, but I had my old daughter back, first time in nearly a year, she smiled, took pride in herself, laughing, joking even playing daft i-spy games, and cuddling up on settee, once she saw the signpost with our town, she changed like the flip of a coin, hoping this be sorted soon.

Got an appointment Friday to see specalist over knee, so could be fun + games or a wasted journey.

Weight..... pass.... thats been sidelined for now, my 1st box of OU course materail came starts Oct, and other 2 start Nov, at least no exams, just got to get organised.

This is the plan (mse as best can), for weekends - ideal each month.
    Gone swimming
    Carboots / craft fair
Have a dvd + popcorn afternoon
Have a wii afternoon, all games her choose
    Sleepover one month...
    Day of a friend up
    Trip for movies for juniors
Pizza evening (mse as get cook your own)
    Craft making

Sounds mad, but even if some are an hour activities, as promised her that work round tutorials, and unless mega emergency won't do any OU at weekend.

Brought 2 mid yr diaries, one for OU courses, and the other for money, need to keep a closer eye, and now most have said yes to smaller payments, make me more organised, the only real part of net missed was checking on-line banking.

The bedrm 3/4 done, all painted candy pink, (not my choice of paint!, DDs), wardrobe and chester draws up, got to put some things away to get it back out again as only home for a week, its Prague week on Sunday, return Fri ngt, bit nevous, looking forward to it. xx

It might sound daft, but I feel like I could tackle the world, it was so relaxing, it was a long break, but we did it mse ways, bargain hunting and I really think we had a better holiday, even DD loved it. xx

Glad to head you had such a fantastic holiday! Try to keep up the positive frame of mind and don't feel that being home means things can't be just as happy.

    xx

    Loumac - thank you xx

Got a bit sorted today, put half of the bags away, - just waiting for dad to do bookcase and bedside cabnets, and got to empty the car.... !! got 2 carrier bags ready for ebay, 2 bags for sewing club at DD's school, and 1 bag rubbish. getting sorted slowly.

Fun week, cafcass Monday, doctors for asthma Wed, then delights job centre, and Fri go and see consultant about my knee, lucky with that one as my uncle is taking me, incase they twist knee can't drive home, 20 miles away.

Rome wasn't built in a day...

  • I hope everything has gone okay with Cafcass.

It sounds like you had such a lovely time and so lovely to see DD brightening up away from all the stress. I think you are great achieving everything you do (ou, running the house on your own etc). Must be nice getting the OU stuff through. When I did it, the most enthusiastic I was was when the course materials came through (it wore off pretty quickly after that as I didn't like the subject matter lol!).
    Just keep swimming!
