Thanks Chev, thats my thoughts exactly, even thou i hate him, I've always said I would support DD in what ever what she wanted to do, daren't have another stress don't think bp would like it.
Just been a weird day, the nice neighbour by us, got rushed into hospital, they think he has had a mini stroke, keeping him in over night. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Guess who's decided they now want to go to Prague, only her ladyship, thou think the fact that I'd found a jelly bean shop was the big attraction... told her have to go on the "I want list" xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

glad you had a great break and as for cafcass words fail me0

A whole 24hrs with no dramas, doing well!!
Paid another £158 off debts 2day, so all helping in the right direction.
Just packed DDs suitcase, shes going away with the school don't go to wed after lunch, and back fri, she has taken 26in suitcase, and more clothes than I took to Prague. Bless her.
Shes soon finished her jelly beans, but did share them.
Empty the car 2mor!! (help), need some of the bits and bobs for bedroom, all funiture now fully made, few bits left to put away. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Good news car is emptied, wasn't as bad as dad was making out, typical bloke!!
DD has gone off on her trip, she was running down the road, so quiet without her, bless her, home friday. Gave me chance to nip into town this afternoon and got her bday prezzies, shes got Simpsons cluedo, choc shape making machine, and had free item, (last day of Argos 3 4 2 on toys), so got her Hello Kitty backpack and stationary set, few odds and sods, courtesy of Argos clearance, saved a fortune...
Even Bailey brought her a pr of earrings, reduced from £28 to £8, pr of gold creoles with a little cz stone.
Managed to nip to Wilkos, - clear out on stationary, so got some bits for her goody bags, got 3 mini highlighters egg shapes, posh rectractable pencil, and mini notepads, all reduced to 17p a pack. Then when we were in Devon had posh bag of sweets done, £1 a bag (very mse), plan is to take 10 children to the cheapie pics on a Sat....
Good news - my GP has given me a "fit note" for 3 months, and then go back, as he hasn't had results from seeing specialist bout knee, but gives me chance to try and get mind etc straight...
Had email from grandparents, asking to see DD when they come across, as they want to make arrangements with me 1st before they see their other grandson... managed to speak to DD this morning, and she's said she wants to see them this time, flipping typical, but she said she only wants to see them for an hour, then can we go. More the fact that her Uncle is coming up, she thinks the world of him.
So have to email them and tell them yes she'll see them, but this is the score.... but shes said no way she wants to see them on her bday, so just sods law. Think after everything they've done, I just want them out of her life, but as DD is suppose to have a choice about her father, then have to give her the choice re them.
Letter from the solicitor, despite everything DD said, cafcass are recommending 6 letters, presents, and cards over a yr, then review it, he reckons we'll take the agreement!! the words over my dead body come to mind".... but.....
following on from that, the GP asked how everything was going, updated him, his concern is how shes going to react to the letters, and wants to consider therapy etc, which isn't really the route I want to go down, but at the end of the day DD health and well being is the most important.
Trying to stay positive, xxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
been organised today and tackled the little shed... otherwise known as Christmas heaven.... 3/4 of the way sorting through it, reckon that we're have 3/4 of the christmas presents sorted, even found some xmas paper, but didn't wrap!!
My next OU course materials came this morning, 2 down 1 to go.... I must be mad! Good news get DD back 2mor, so quiet without her, even Bailey having a strop, he disappeared earlier... he'd shot upstairs and was lay on her bed, with his head on her cushion. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Apologies rant alert, just need to get it out my system, hard day as it would have been my sisters birthday, so we took some flowers up to the crem.
Another drama in the house, mums stair lift again, it was lucky wasn't worse than it was, cut out half way down the stairs, then by the time we got her down there was wire wrapped round her leg... in her case could have been extremely dangerous.
Get the company out, - cut a long story short its a farce, after it was serviced in May (12 months old), it was dangerous, and unuseable, apparently we were meant to be given a brand new one, but the "company" that originally fitted it, just replaced parts, then in July we had to have them out again, more work, now the unit is dangerous, unuseable and unfit... poor mum is having to go up and down stairs on all fours, I'm going up + down on bum.. we're at the end of the chain, as it was put in from referral from OT, then pd by the council, then fitted by the company, The OT has steam coming out of her ears and has suggested that mum either moves out and stays in a hotel!! (lovely whos paying!!) or sleep downstairs.... no bathroom facilities.... pretty fuming, in the 12 month guarentee period we had the company out over 12 times....
On a positive have paid £163 today off debts, helps, but trying to hit the next 1k target feels like an eternity away, getting there slowly.
Solicitors today, as usual cafcass as much use as choc teapot, solicitor not happy with the report, he also has concerns as how the court summons was originally delievered, - he thinks that ex has been given the address, or possibly found some way of traceing it... considering his parents, have breeched all the previous court orders, and his brother my money on them.
Presently the cafcass have said letters + presents for a yr, DD is in a state, she said cafcass won't listen to her, this is after her writing saying no I want nothing, we've come up with a counter offer, but I very much doubt the other side will accept it.
bad news from school, shes dropped down in maths and spelling groups at school, she said shes having probs concentrating, all she has in her mind is being forced into letters etc she doesn't want. The teacher last school yr told the head there was educational issues her work was going down, but they didn't want to know. DD got an appointment next week with the GP as he wants to refer her for councelling... what 8 yr old has to have councelling, its just going over head at mo. At least the court hearing not on her bday, so shes agreed to go out for a pizza with 2 friends from school.
The other grandparents are across, DD has asked to see them, as she thinks the world of the other son and his wife, but they changed the goalposts so other son + wife aren't coming up to thurs (her bday) and all want to see her, She has said no to... I've told if she doesn't want to she hasn't got to see grandparents, but shes asked to, as she said can she ask them why they lied to her, and why they sent photos, etc... My heart aches for her, and I don't want her in that situation, but on the other hand, if she gets the answers, and they see what they've done to her, it may help her, can't make her any worse.
The relationship with them is hanging on by a thread, I feel sorry in my heart for the grandmother, as must been hard, for 6 yrs knowing that they have a granddaughter, but there son has kept all details off her away, all they knew was her 1st name, apparently that took over a yr for him to tell them that, yet now he has a new family, the ex parades his son round from day 1. I don't feel jealous, just damm annoyed, that he did what the heck he wanted for 8yrs and now swans in as thou he's father of the yr. Men...xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
What a saga...
We ended up meeting the grandparents, I went in first as wanted to show them the photos they'd sent so they knew what they had done, and also that Iwasn't lying, and took a letter for the other son to read, filled in all missing gaps. When the son read the letter, he said to the father, have you seen this, why didn't you tell me, I felt sorry, but he needed to know why I walked away, and obviously why I'm very protective of DD.
The father, replied its all a pack of lies, my son wouldn't hurt a fly. At that point got up to walk put, the father had a go, and I said I've bent overbackwards, sorry I'm not bringing DD into this, you've lost her. The mother was upset asked for another chance, said get DD and dad, as he was waiting for us, - he came in and the father started mouthing off how prefect his son was, till dad told him he'd threatened to kill him and mum, on more than one ocassion and the only reason they didn't call the police was because of the state I was it. He ignored me, so it proves a point. DD told them that yes they are her grandparents, but she can't trust them, she can't be brought (bday card £50, purse with £20, charm for her pandora bracelet, dress, 2 tops, necklace name on it.)
The son and his wife who she thinks the world of gave her £20 and brought her a big dragon.
Its been left up in the air, as that for the mums sake, (90% sure shes geuniune) I will send monthly emails, may meet them next year, if they come over, we wont go there, or on holiday as they've asked us to go to Spain.

But DD had a lovely bday, she was so exicted with this choc egg rotator, and her simpsons cluedo, and that Bailey has amazing taste as he brought her some make up. Dad and I took her + 2 friends for a pizza, then today we went up to Rhyl and Pensarn, had a bit of a shock as kids fun fair had gone, apparently closed mid sept for winter. Just the 4 of us and Bailey, she loved it.

The court case, somewhere along the line the most almighty error has happened, as they faffed around with court case dates, they apparently didn't tell him. So he turned up for court on Thurs, has refused to come back on Mon (correct hearing), as he's now working!! (very fishy... but!!) so it boils down to the court case is now postponed, possibly Nov before we get a date. Seems odd as court told me + my solicitor re dates, but we can't judge. So just a ngtmare.
That close to telling the school to stick the goveners position, too much hassle, in meetings more like a nodding dog, its all cut and dried, ditto with pta, I've done so much but nothings been done, but the annoying thing is need to be either working position or voluntry that I have decision making process and some organisational environment, which I can use all the work done for PTA.
But have paid another £63 off debts yesterday, another £200 togo in the next 2 weeks which at least take me into the 6k bracket.
I even managed a very near shop free day today, didn't even look in Evans....all I got was buttons, oven cleaner, new diary, £2 on bracelet (xmas prezzie). Which for a day up the coast with me is amazing, so guessing my frugal living is kicking in and finally not even bothered by not the changes, so guess the lightbulb moment stayed on this time. xxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
MIndblowing! How you stay so strong I'll never know! DD is lucky to have you and I'm glad after all the dramas you managed to enjoy her birthday treats. xxWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0

So glad DD had a nice bday
I try to get involved with the PTA, and do bits where I can but I just don't have the time with everything else I have to do. We had a school governor position come up and school and I considered it for a split second but then read that you had to do a kind of proposal about yourself and then you be put up against others and they would vote  Unfortunately (or fortunately) we don't know that many people in our village so I decided to leave them to fight it out amongst themselvesJust keep swimming!0
