Travelling with easyjet for first time this weekend and got couple things on my mind.
A friend has told me easyjet will charge me again if i use a check in desk, not sure if this is true or not. So because of this i have printed off my boarding pass but not sure where i go on my travel date, do i still goto the desk or do i go somewhere else?
regards

Are you checking in a bag?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

EasyJet does not charge extra to use the check in desk. If you have hand luggage only you go straight to the departure gate if you've checked-in online and got your boarding pass. If you have hold luggage you need to go to the bag-drop in the check-in area.0

Can anyone please confirm that you can still pay for one piece of checked in luggage and put 32kg in it?0

You can put 32kg in it but you'll get massive excess baggage charges which can be reduced by booking it in advance0 -

Hope this helps, have a good trip!
Be aware that this used to be the case and I regularly took advantage of it. HOWEVER I travelled with easyJet in Jan 11 and the glitch has been fixed - two people, one case, 20kg weight allowance.....0 -
Yes, that glitch has been fixed, benefitted a few moneysavers though.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Anyone know if Easyjet enforce their 'one hand luggage' item policy?
Yes, my wife was stopped and forced to put her handbag in the cabin suitcase, but on an earlier flight the same year she carried on suitcase and handbag with no problem, it very much depends if there is a 'jobsworth' on duty.0 -

Is there another cheap alternative?0 -
Travelling Edinburgh to Milan in Aug with 10 yr old daughter for 8 nights. Was originally gonna go handluggage only but now wondering if I'd be better booking an item of hold luggage "just in case" we end up taking more, I was originally thinking we're going at the height of Lombardy summer but we're there for a wedding so will need wedding outfits shoes and bag. But will I then be penalised if we DON'T need it and i've booked a slot for it anyway. Weird question but wondering.
Also how far in advance can you check in? I can find info on latest you can check in but not earliest. I like to be organised and am planning on checking in earlier the same week as we're travelling.0
