You're allowed to take a lighter on board. Lighter plus deodorant = instant flamethrower.

I carry all my prescription medication in my hand luggage. No way am I going to run the risk of my luggage getting lost with my meds in.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0

I use a bigger bag also. The only place I have been stopped is Heathrow, who kindly separated my items into two smaller bags for me!Gone ... or have I?0 -

Yep. I imagine breaking a bottle and then using the glass pieces would be a very useful weapon if you fancied hijacking a plane. Absurd, really - and just proves that at least part of the 'security' is for financial reasons.From Poland...with love.
