Anyone heard of: City Financial or Northern Financial both based in/around Manchester

LOL all the crooks that run these firms must be driving Ferraris by now, all from the pockets of people who can probably not afford it.

The address is on a large trading estate of businesses of various sizes. Milton Court is a smaller courtyard of individual units of which it appears there are only six.

Unfortunately the units are not numbered but by a process of elimination..i.e all the others except one have big signs saying who they are, I was drawn to the one pictured above as its the only one with a "to let" sign on it.

I had thought that was it..theyve moved on but no. As i was about to leave,two ladies arrived in a small car,parked outside the red shutter on the left..spent a few minutes chatting and smoking,then opened up the shutter on the left and went inside. Unfortunately the door behind the shutter was just plain glass with no business name or anything but it looked a bit non descript and run down.

Also,outside there was a bin overflowing with cig dimps and fag packets which seemed to suggest that quite a few people worked there and it might be some kind of small scale call centre full of smokers!

Either way..its no blue chip operation.

Kingfisher graphics is directly next door so if your skillfull and polite on the phone,you might ring them and possibly extract some info from them?

The sign at the entrance to Milton court lists unit 5 as being Surgichem House.

I too have just realised that I have been scammed by this company and after many tears have plucked up the courage to speak to the police. My local station were fantastic and have promised to investigate. I would urge everyone who has ever been unfortunate enough to be in the same position to speak to the police - if enough people make themselves heard perhaps these poor excuses for human beings will be stopped.

I to have been scammed today,have been in tears most of evening,then phoned bank to stop the money but they can't,but the good news is they are dealing with it and will get my money back in the next two weeks ,I personally would let them deal with it it put my mind at rest that I won't be out pocket for long ,good old bank thanks

why oh why after all the warnings on tv and in the papers about these companys are people still being scammed and paying these shysters...sheeple is the correct word for a lot of people...you dont give your bank details to strangers over the phone is the first law of common sense...use it..

Do not send any money to these companies! You have been warned. They are a SCAM. They have been reported to trading standards the financial services authority and the financial ombudsman. They fraudulently claim they have a loan on the table for you at a fake interest rate. You hastily pay them the money upfront only to find it is subject to their terms and conditions, which provides them with every cop out opt out of their liabilities possible. After a few weeks they will tell you that your loan application has failed and they have the right to keep your deposit, which by the way in the beginning they will tell you is fully refundable, that is until they get there theiving mits on it!
