Hi!

Hugs to all in need! Just caught up with the thread - didn't get time to read yesterday but did do the flying! Have now managed to do level 2 for three days and am starting to feel more in control!

Am now after some advice! Have a business meeting tomorrow involving community leaders from the local Muslim community. I'm usually a fan of short skirts and killer heels - but would smart tailored trousers and a blouse be deemed appropriate? Don't want to offend! Any thoughts?

As the kids go to my MiLs for a week on Sat I shall just enlist their help in tidying the toys & I shall hoover them. Next week I shall have a better go & also change their bedding. TBH when they were away a few weeks ago I gutted both their rooms so there isn't much to do. Of course I am forgetting the babys room. He is too young to trash his though!!!

I shall crack on with my ironing tomorrow though. My MiL irons EVERYTHING :eek:

Depends how religious they are and what the purpose of the meeting is. How do they normally dress? If they are deeply devout, I would think of wearing a longish skirt and a long sleeved blouse rather than trousers.

Rosepink what personal info do you have to give this man? I hate to say it but it seems a bit suspicious to me,usually when something seems too good to be true it often is. Please tread carefully, you seem a lovely lady and I would hate for someone to take you for a ride xx

I have had an awful day with kids, both have been naughty and played up, I even had my name read out over the tannoy in Asda as ds ran off:mad::o:eek:. I have spent all day moaning at them tidying up after them and generally getting stressed. Went to see my grandma (i do her washing and ironing) and she has the least child friendly house ever. I left after 40 mins as I got too stressed trying to keep my dd (she's 16 months) off all the ornaments. I always take toys but she just is more interested in the bloody crappy knick knacks.:mad:
Anyway, had some more people round to view the house, they bought their 3 year old and she and my son played happily together and she cried when they went home. Not sure they liked the house but cant really tell anyway.
Got rid of my stress by having a lovely takeaway curry and 2 Gordons, one for me and one for Soapie:beer:

Thanks Soappie! Will go rummage to back of wardrobe to see what is available! Long sleeve blouses are easy - longish skirts might be a challenge!!!!!!
