I have been very good this afternoon and have just rested and read. I also went through my old laptop, got DS to remove the hard drive and it's now gone in the bin (I know Greenbee will probably yell at me but I don't care on this occasion :p). It's gone. That's the main thing.

Too right I'm going to yell at you  I hope you d-banned it before you irresponsibly consigned it to landfill!

    Hiya everyone
Sorry i've not caught up on the thread but a big hug to all the poorlies, anyone having hassle at the moment and anyone else who'd like a big hug!!

My two are recovering from SF and DH is too. I've avoided it so far so fingers crossed it stays that way.

I've spent the day catching up with phone calls to start work again next week. Also cleared half of a flower bed in the back garden that I want to change over to veg. It'll be pretty bare till next year though I'll do leeks and brussel sprouts in it ready for the winter. Spotty dog likes weeding....she eats anything that's grasslike and was in seventh heaven whilst I was digging the flower bed over. I kept having to take stuff out of her mouth!

Big s/s in the house, baked cookies with DD, three loads of washing, dried lots and now going to sort the underwear / towels etc.

Plans for tomorrow include tarting up the front of the house and front garden ready for some new clients next week.

Massive hugs again especially for tootles, LL and Jo (hope the job hunting is going ok) xx

Family room looking good from today's decluttering.

Doing really well with some paperwork I've been meaning to do for months. Nothing urgent just something I want to get straight.

Kids all fed. OH out with his Dad so I'll need to do bedtime and at a reasonable hour as tv starts at 9:00 (only night I watch tv is Wednesday)

If you want some help with the CV let me know... once I've got through Friday I'll be happy to help!

Suppose I should go for a quick walk while the sun's out, as I got no exercise yesterday and skipped the gym this morning too... All I really want to do is go to bed:o

We do have a tent which we could use but if the weather is not too good i am not sure it would be a good idea.

I will see what the job centre cv clinic comes up with and then forward it to you to have a look. I think the one i have is pretty rubbish as it does not look much but when you have done the same job for 18 years hows it supposed to look!!

    Thanks a million xxx

If you don't feel too well hun off to bed you go. x

Hugs Quill - have you tried a late booking site?

Have just spoken to Toots on the phone. She sends her love to everyone and hopes to be online by the weekend.

Just spoken to DD and her bloke's fever broke last night and he's now at the moaning about everything stage so that's good news. Apparently he says that what he's had can't possibly be the same as what we've all had. I guess there are now, officially, two versions of swine flu - the ordinary version and the man-swine flu version :D

... techie equivalent of flying :p . If not, I assume that you have physically damaged it beyond repair... you should know this stuff!

YOu mean you only just found out... apparently swine flu is in no way as serious as ordinary man-flu

Great to hear that toots is doing well... I hope she doesn't try to catch up on everything we've been up to while she was away! And if anyone has a working PC they're upgrading, I reckon toots is a deserving cause to donate it to, as hers is hopeless!

Quillion - what dates were you thinking of?
