ishtar - have a great time at Legoland.
quillion - whereabouts in Norfolk did you want to go? My in-laws have a static caravan (2 bedrooms) in Mundesley (North Norfolk - best part!) - I could find out if they are interested in helping if you'd like? pm me if you're interested? Small site on the cliff top and has a swimming pool and club house. Although the ladybird swarm is really not nice at the moment.

Good to hear that toots will be back online soon.

My lovely dh has just done all the hoovering and mopping for me as it was making me all hot and dizzy.
I felt guilty that the whole family has prety much been marooned and quarantined here for the last 10 days so we went to the deserted part of the beach and me and dh sat and read while the boys swam in the sea - so that was a nice break from sf isolation.

Ahh! :D I thought you were going to give me a lecture about laptops that have NO hard drive in them going to landfill and the consequences of environmental damage because of the electrics in them that that may cause.

I was going to counter with how the immediate effects on the environmental what with me doing the 40 minute round trip by car to the dump to put the carcass in the electrics bin, whilst still, probably, infectious with swine flu would far outweigh any long term issues.....

The laptop is in the bin. But, the hard drive is currently sitting on the kitchen table :D

Laptop shouldn't go in the bin... it's classified as hazardous waste (give me the make and model and I can probably tell you what's in it!). I keep my electronic waste (batteries, CFL bulbs, phone chargers etc) in a box in the garage and take it to the tip when I'm going past/going there for another reason. Think of your grandchildren, and how much they'll resent you for poisoning the groundwater and wasting precious resources (they're fighting wars over coltan...)

Had a busy couple of hours. DH and the kids now back from swimming and the kids have been deposited into bed. We've not had tea yet so DH has started cooking pasta in pesto with salmon and broccoli.

Anyway...I need another star please Soappie.

Magnificent Monday ~ Living room, hall and stairs!
    DONE:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

YAY! That's two stars down and one more to go. Not sure if I'll end up finishing the kitchen tonight but hopefully tomorrow.

Off to sort tea with DH then collapse in front of the telly for an hour.

    xx

Mr Old Dog is very poorly and I have been cleaning up after him all night since I got in from work. Hence the WM has been on several cleaning washes and door inside wiped. Floor swept and mopped. Worksurfaces wiped and tidied. Just a bit of wiping over left to do but I've had enough of stardrops tonight!

Bath cleaned after bathed the dog so bathroom shouldn't take too long depending how long tomorrow's clean up takes when I get up/in from work

Didnt tackle the bathroom after I finished the kitchen. I did the stairs with a small hard brush and the living room carpet with a broom. Have not quite finished the living room though. Got a phone call from the library to say my books were overdue and they arent. Turns out the 2 books they say are overdue I returned when I got the present ones.. My boss rang and Im working tomorrow instead of Friday. Also one load of washing done. Off to my bed as Im shattered. Good night everyone.

OK... I'll put my thinking cap on... I might be going up there for that weekend too (depending on the work situation ), so if you are in docking maybe we could meet for tea at the windmill :D

That sounds like a great idea. We will def be going for that weekend if we have to sleep on the floor and the settee (me)
Would be lovely to meet up especially at the windmill. I love that place and the bread hmmmm making me hungry ;)
