My mum had her course bought by all her work colleagues when she retired.
What a gorgeous looking place and what a lovely retirement gift...was it her idea or someone elses?
Either way a great idea! My mum (who retired early from the Health Service) asked for a sewing machine but I think I use it more than she does...:rotfl:
My plan to nip to the shops while Dd was at her dancing lesson (in TOWN Quillion) has been thwarted as she feels unwell so hasn't gone. I have been into school to sort a few bits out and have decluttered the recycling from there..am just decluttering a coffee. :coffee: anyone?

It is nice...the shop is fab...but not very cheap!
She had been talking about the place with a girl from work and had mentioned that she might do one of the courses when she retired, so when they did a collection they got much more than they needed to cover the cost. She'd been there for about 20 years so everyone knew her there. When we went today we could see them in the kitchens decorating the cakes. They were in the middle of a brilliant 'Upsy Daisy' cake (flyladies with LO's will know who that is!) and DD2 was jumping up and down and shouting with excitement when she saw Iggle Piggle and Maka Paka cakes. The wedding cakes were absolutely fantastic...they must have about 20 to 30 of them on display. One of them was about 9 tiers and cost £2,000! Of course we ordered two of those just to cut up after tea...NOT!:rotfl:
Flyingwise....I've done NONE! Instead I lay on my bed and finished my book then closed my eyes for 20 minutes. Suppose I'd better do something before DH comes home.
