I have hubby cleaning the oven, it is yukMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

Well just managed to sort another couple of cupboards in the kitchen.
i.e. putting pans near the oven etc. Still have loads of stuff in the bedroom that I need to move into the kitchen but seeing as I put up the cabinets I am worried that if I start to fill the cupboards then the cabinets may fall down!
Also found a use for the wine rack I have. Got it when I ordered the kitchen but decided it was a close fit and the way my cowboy kitchen did the kitchen I didn't feel comfortable putting wine in the rack so I am now using it under the stairs and it is perfect as a shoe rack. I can now open my freezer door without having to move all the shoes. Well three pairs of them.
Anyway have descaled the kettle and going to make a :coffee:January Grocery 11/3740 -
In my HHC I have done a maidenful of iroing, paired socks and allocated as appropriate, portioned up 3 portions of vegetable chilli to freeze and made a start on DDs lunch/tea (nice easy one). Quite pleased with that HHC - had a good clear up in the kitchen, including emptying and reloading the dishwasher with all the crockery from around the house. Just the floor to do now.
How did everyone else do?

Afternoon everyone,
Happy Birthday SSL
Soappie make sure you rest hon, and all t'others that have also got SF..it's not a very nice thing to have, as I am finding out now. I thought I was over it but boy is it a kicker afterwards..
I am trying so hard to get myself going but I am so lacking energy that the slightest thing sets me back. I have been napping for England at the moment, and every so often my temp shoots up. I am also suffering with my CFS flare up.. I was right this was lying underneath the Swine Flu and unfortunately is now showing itself now I am recovering.. It's a bit of a pain trying to hold/peel etc things when your hand is in a claw and doesn't want to stretch out.. Still with painkillers and ibuprofen it does ease up a bit.
Triker I noticed you had been diagnosed with Post Viral Fatigue..please don't push yourself hon as this does make it worse, or it has in my case. Unfortunately because I refused to rest early on I have been left with it after 10 years.. Thank gods it hasn't got to the point of using a wheelchair but sometimes I do need to use a walking stick if I know I am going to be on my feet for a length of time, my hips tend to start hurting me.. Please pace yourself sweetie, this is the best thing you can do. And if necessary get your Dr to sign you off work to help your recovery. Also you will probably notice that you need to sleep a lot more, don't force yourself to stay awake - have a nap in the afternoon or when your body tells you. Also don't force yourself to get up if your body is complaining..do things slowly and I mean slowly..
Oh well I had better get myself dressed, I have showered and I am sitting here under the ceiling fan cooling down watching Upstairs Downstairs on delay t.v. I think I might have overdone it yesterday when I thoroughly cleaned the oven with Ovenpride. Unfortunately it hasn't quite got all the bottom clean so I need to do this again, but the shelves are absolutely sparkling and twinkling
My DH surprised me last night, he actually got the hoover out and hoovered the stairs and landing (mainly due to the fact the cats had been playing target practice with their cat litter and it was like pebble beach!!).
I have to keep an eye on the lodger cat as he is a bit grumpy and sulking, we are dog sitting for my friend for a couple of weeks, and unfortunately lodger cat has his nose put out of joint!! Still he will get over it, he did wolf down half a tin of tuna this morning..but I think he was just plain hungry, and he is still using his cat tray so it isn't anything too serious. He is just sleeping a lot, which in some case isn't abnormal for him..lol

Afternoon all
Been to town and finally managed to get trainers for DS2 in TKMaxx - they are not ideal as they aren't leather but he likes them, they are comfy and padded and only £15
Visited Mum who had DS3 whilst we were in town.
Came back and highways were at my gully:T I thought yippee but unfortunately they cannot fix it  so back to square one nowFeeling a bit pleased with myself now (hope it's not a case of pride before a fall), but I went on the techie board and managed to download a programme that has got rid of my stupid Personal Antivirus malware. :j
sexymouse xx
Well done, the techies have helped me out many times, they are great, you won't make that mistake again.
Happy Birthday to your DS1 Serena, did his presents turn up?
SSL hope you have a great birthday
Rose good luck with the flat moving
I want to do a bit more in the family room but DS3 is on the wii so I'll give him 15 minutes whilst I do a bit of watering in the garden and then he can turn off.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Presumably it's down to them to fix it, and they'll have to work something out. Do you have a claim against them for the damage/hassle they've caused you?0 -
Yeah it is still their problem to fix, this was a contractor. He says he thinks it will have to be dug up (works order, another department) and the swan neck replaced so that they can jet it and see if that solves my problem. I'm going to phone highways now I've had a cuppa. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

have phoned window cleaners (who do a garden service as well it appears) to arrange for my guttering to be cleaned...I have two short gutters, one of which is kike a window box but I though I had better get it cleaned out and I asked them because they have ladders...
I got the quote last year!
They're coming on friday!
I am going through my summer project list at a good pace!
