Anyone up for a HHC 2.30-3?

Neighbours has now been watched and lunch eaten, so it's time to clear up in the kitchen. Tuesdays are good days for doing the kitchen here, as we go to MIL's for dinner next door, so it stays tidy for a bit afterwards.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Does anyone remember the days when a dishwasher was a luxury, not a necessity?! I am the only person I know who washes up by hand – no wonder that “hands that do dishes are as soft as your face” ad has long gone!! I even saw a post on freecycle this week saying “WANTED – urgent dishwasher – ours is broken”!!!

Anyway, apart from that I hope to do all of this tonight. I took a chance on the washing and left it outside today while I came to work, but of course it’s poured down since then, so need to sort this AGAIN! I earned a star for doing everything but the shredding last night too – am on a roll!

    Good luck all!
    Overpay!

I forgot to tell everyone yesterday I was hovering the staircase etc and DS went into his bedroom and said "mummy hall I tidy my room" I told him that would be a great idea expecting him done a couple of minutes later but true to his word he has cleared the floor. He got some big kisses from his mummy (well while he is still young enough to want them;))

I don't have a DW either. In fact when the last kid left home I got rid of the DW in order to have more cupboard space. I hate DWs and only had one as OH insisted we needed one
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Just waiting for the 2nd guest bed linen to finish in WM and will get that out on the line. Weather has cleared up here so should be able to get up to date with washing today.

Thanks again for all the motivation today.
I have my Dad coming to visit tomorrow so not sure how much I'll get done but he's happy to sit here and relax (he needs to as he's been poorly !) so I should get a few bits done while I'm waiting for him to arrive.

Might pop out in the garden for 1/2 hour once dinner is prepared. Have a good afternoon xx
