Phew chest of drawers in place and clothes arranged in them, Miss A and W loved doing that, choosing what goes in what drawer. Hoovered bathroom, W's room landing, stairs, hall and kitchen. Emptied hoover. Old chest of drawers relocated to 1. twist on stairs and 2. in the hall. Rather than get rid they will eventually be rehomed either in the garage as tool storage or in the RoD, which of course will be no more at some point! Will use one for ebay stock. The one in the hall has had the drawers lined and currently houses all the shoes (which were lined up down the hall before) Once the cloakroom cupboard is cleared the shoes will go in there and ebay stock will go in instead. Following??????? Tis all part of the grand plan :rotfl: kitchen still looking good. Going to see what has been done off of the lists so far this week.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0

I'm getting grumpy now. I just don't do being ill. I've had no fever today and hardly any aches and pains but am quite sluggish. I need to stoke up on food I think - I've not eaten very much for the last couple of days. I shall root around the freezer etc. and see what's going to tempt me and which will be nutritious. Salmon I think.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Kitchen floor and dining room floor have been hoovered and kitchen floor has been mopped.
I managed to catch my back just above my waistband on the hatch door as I was hoovering the dining room and I'm now off to find something cold to put on it as it really hurts and I think will turn into a big bruise. I'm sure we've got some ice packs in the freezer.
Please can I have my kitchen star soappie?

Hi dusty, and DS1 says thank you! I'm missing two presents - they were all dispatched together though, so not sure what happened there
My sister's card arrived, but although I'm sure my brother and Dad would have sent one as well, they've not arrived.
AnW's mum - sounds like a very productive day!
soappie - you sound like my family! Pefectly good patients, but horrible convalescents!!
natty - I was just wondering this morning where you were! Glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better, but take it carefully.
Hugs to triker.
I've done the washing up, and baked a chocolate cake for DS1. I've also found hotels for the trip to France - OH doesn't like driving too long, and so we're splitting the journey. In Reims. Perfect to stock up on a little champagne.:D Ferry crossings alos sorted, but not yet booked and paid for.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Afternoon!!
Read the thread but cant remember everything i was gonna say so hugs to those who need them etc... WAS going to catch up on my flying today... BUT ex-OH has said he's gonna plaster my kitchen tomorrow for me... (been waiting 2.5 years for him or my dad to do it like so im not holding my breath :rotfl:) But that means all the kitchen will be messy and the guff will all get moved into and left in the living room... so no point catching up anymore than i already have as will have to redo it all again on thursday :rolleyes:0 -
I have just spoken to toots, she is pleased to be home but won't be online for another day or so (possibly as long as early next week) as her pc is covered up with dust sheets whilst her lounge is decorated!
Due to a !!!! up with patient transport arrangements she ended up staying in hospital longer  but she will be on the case next time so it doesn't happen again.
I have given her some of the news from here but with a sieve for a brain I am bound to have missed something!
Told her to take it easy, she asked after everyone and said thanks for all the messages of support over the last couple of weeks.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
