Glad it went well today Greenbee. Fingers crossed for a good result.
Soappie does that mean I only have to drink one gin and tonic tonight then? Glad you are feeling better and it looks as if the weather is going to be great too.
Fedup so sorry about your poorly dog.
Well I have not done too much except change the bed, 3 loads of washing, washed up and a couple of hours int he garden. Ds and I went to see Ice Age 3 which was good. It was the first time we had seen a film in 3d too which was funny, the specs were too big for him and he had to sit still, shame i cant get him to wear them all the time so he sits still a bit more:rotfl:

Oooh Greenbee, I have everything crossed for you! But of course, you're not going to hand in your notice are you if you're offered the job - you're going to keep it quiet until you're on gardening leave and get your redundo? ;)

Bag's packed. And I've discovered dropping the engagement ring in a glass of gin really does bring it up a treat! I decided Mum and Dad need to be there with us tomorrow tangibly (I know they'll be there in spirit) so I've got Mum's engagement ring out of the safe. It was a little bit dull but two minutes already in a drop of gin and it's beginning to sparkle again.

Dad will be with us in the form of one of his initialled handerkerchiefs which I've hung on to all these years, pinned to the underskirt of my frock.

Daft I am, I tell you. Daft! Or maybe just a little bit more than ordinary Special...

Of course I am... I'm going to point out that if I'm made redundant I will probably get PILON and not have to work my notice. If I quit, they'll enforce the full notice period, even if I'm on gardening leave for some of it. They know I'm on three months notice, and I definitely need a break of some kind! Hopefully I'll get my end date next week anyway... ideally before I have to give an answer (assuming I get an offer).

Don't waste the gin... you can still drink it afterwards you know... and we already knew you were a softy, despite your formidable reputation at work!

I know it's friday, but is that any reason not to have a bath and go to bed now? :o

As it is Friday, you're allowed to do whatever you want. And if that's what you want to do - go do it!
