Evening all, well I survived today! DD had an great time and she seemed to really enjoy it. The staff were amazing and sorted everything for us making it pretty stress free, absolutely knackered tonight though.

OH has a job to London which will be a big help for us but means he has to leave at 5 in the morning. Luckily, I am on strike tomorrow so will be able to sort the kids out for school so striking has worked out well for once although I will be crying when I get next months pay slip.

    Hope everyone is well xxx

Its a Worcester 37cdi combi which as you can imagine means absolutely nothing to me. He was talking about all the different ones and I was nodding along and making all the right noises but was thinking about what I was going to have for my tea - I left OH to the decision making!

I have 36.58 in my bank account to last 3 weeks and about 100.00 in my purse. I hate this skint feeling so hopefully OH will make enough to see us through the month. I am determined not to touch the savings account though which currently stands at 526.35. xxx

Good choice of boiler there and a great fare for DH.
  • I'm on strike too P. Loving it lol. Doing the menager this month so as long as my boss remembers to put in the extra for that then hopefully not too big an impact on me. He'll probably forget to pay me though lol. I think I'll give the dates to my boss's boss to put on and make sure I get it as I will be mega skint otherwise. I'll feel really guilty tomorrow taking the money off all my staff though !

Evening everyone!! Long time no speak. *naughty penguin*

Hope everyone is fine and dandy. I have been here lurking and now catching up with it all. Feeling very disheartened at the mo so havent been posting (which makes no sense I should post more when I feel like that so everyone can make me feel better again!)

OH's car is still off the road, he did the London job and that is it so we are skint but managing. It is very frustrating because my grand plans have a tight timescale and dont include time for things like having no car and OH earning no money :rotfl:

Anyways, still have no hot water. Have put the boiler on hold for now until OH is back at work just to make sure that we dont spend on the boiler and then find we have no money.

DS's birthday last weekend went well he seemed to really enjoy it this year on the proviso that no said or sang happy birthday to him. He did open his presents though which is something he hasnt been fussed about in the past. Everything he got was Ben 10 related. I drew the line at Dad getting him a Ben 10 dartboard though so he settled for the Pinball machine instead :rotfl:

I have the rest of the week off work to watch the Cheltenham Festival which is fab and we are going out for a family meal tomorrow for my Nans 80th which I cant wait for. Dad is paying too so very MSE :T

Off to catch up with some more diaries. xxx
