Evening all - slightly drunkard Penguin tonight so I apologise in advance for any spelling mistakes!

Had a great day in Blackpool yesterday. DS was brilliant - the difference 12 months has made is amazing. He covered his ears when it got a bit noisy and didnt want to go on any rides but he played quite happily on the 2p machines and sat and had something to eat and walked the whole way without asking to be carried.

It is my Grandads birthday today so I have been to see him (hence the drunkeness) 79 today and still as sprightly as ever.

Absolutely sweet fa on the debt busting front but get paid tomorrow and our month starts again on Tuesday so whatever is left on Monday night will get paid off MBNA (about 250.00 by my reckoning).

Short and sweet tonight - hope everyone is well x x

Glad you had a great time.
Granddad sounds like a bit of a character....and in fine health at 79.
You're doing great having money left over at the end of the month.

Thanks Taxi - our month starts tomorrow and I have a grand total of 176.74 left in my account so I have transferred all of that to MBNA and I made a 100.00 payment to them on Halloween so outstanding balance is now less than 800.00 - cant wait until it is gone!

I am owed almost 200.00 from the Echo arena as well which I need to get onto them about tomorrow - bought some Lady Gaga tickets for a group of us to go next year and have been charged twice - hope it is simple to sort out!

Working this week and just getting over a lovely headcold so hoping that my energy reappears soon.

Off to work out budget which I keep putting off but needs doing before tomorrow! xx

  • you look like you've been doing such a fab job with the debt busting penguin.

I haven't been to see the blackpool lights for years, really ought to try and take my kiddies, maybe next year :)

Morning all, have been naughty and not updated for ages!

Had to have my beautiful horse put down yesterday, she appeared to have had a stroke and her time had come. Very very sad as I have had her for 15 years and havent been without a horse for so long it feels very weird.

MSE wise, I have almost paid off MBNA (down to the last 500.00) and everything else up to date.

Will update properly later, not in the mood today! x x x
