Mad has never unwittingly passed over a dud coupon. There are a load of "good 'uns" out there without taking the proverbial. As I've said before I've tried to get me fav SA's onboard but they just "can't be bothered". Have saved mega money in the past year :)

    Evening all,

Been away visiting friends for a couple of days and haven't caught up with the thread yet, but I have some news re the Warbies fiasco..........

As mentioned in a previous post, I called couponnet earlier in the week, expaining that I couldn't print anything from their site ( and others) after printing warburtons coupons. They confirned that Warburtons had instructed them to block a large number of users due to abuse of their policy. They promised to look into it for me.

Tonight I came home to this email

''I have had a chance to look into your reported printing issue and have found that your device was blocked because of the instruction we got from Warburton’s for those people who were in breach of the terms and conditions of their offer.

We have spoken to Warburton’s and told them that you are an honest coupon user and they have instructed us to unblock you.

    Happy printing.''

    :D :T :D :T

Needless to say I'm well chuffed!

Right, off to catch up now!

Sorry missed this one before I replied.

Stores don't get sent any coupons back. Any out of date or dodgy ones are just not counted by the counting house. All losses are shown on the report they get sent once a week. No explanations, the stores just have to take the loss.

In my favourite Tesco, a couple of the checkout supervisors showed me coupons that got sent back un-paid because they were photocopies so I assumed each store sends their coupons to the clearing house that way they know where to send them back to. Plus how do they know how much money they have lost due to fakes and how much profit they have made from the legitimate coupons? One store I use just recently started taking coupons again after stopping them because they lost over £8000 from taking duds. I'm not trying to argumentative, I'm just trying to understand how this works.

I don't know how they got coupons back, most probably the cash office saw them and sent them back out to the checkouts to use as examples of what not to take?
They find out how much they lose/gain each week on coupons on a report that comes down from head office, this is usually a few weeks behind due to the time it takes to count etc.
All these gains and loses on coupons (as well as cash ect) go towards what they call 'pence per thousand' which is one of the things the store is graded on, if they lose too much each week management will start getting a ticking off and this is when they start clamping down on coupon usage etc.

Just back from my local t's,managed to get my bill from £120 down to £80 with moc,s.Was quite happy with this until sa said that from now on if i use farmfoods vouchers i have to purchase the said amount in frozen food.Eg if you use £5 off 50 shop you must purchase £50 of frozen. If this is the case i would get better deals at my local farmfoods. She took the coupon this time.Has anybody else heard of this happening at there local t,s.
  • Oh what a couple of days!!! PC died and reverted to pre-historic laptop but couldn't print coupons due to defunct disk drive and inability to load printer software to laptop. Unable to get suitable download off t'internet for drivers but saved by "paradigm" on the techie thread )god bless him/her!!) who sent me the download. Got nearly all coupons back but where's KOS gone? Link loooks dead and coupon runs to end of month! Anyone got any advice? xx (bit of sucking up there)

We only have one little rule on here, it's called VC's rule;) If you thank the first poster on the 1st page for all their hard work, then you may get a response :D Other than that we are very friendly so when done pm me your e mail and will send a copy;)
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
