Cant see this happening as Farmfoods sell milk, cheese, yoghurts, biscuits, crisps etc not just frozen. Me thinks another SA not happy with coupons.

Had a double up voucher on cosmetics and crap to get rid rid of (don't ask why). Went to me Tesco extra for the first time in months coz I assumed they'd have a better choice. Chose deodorants....cut a long story short the double-up voucher wouldn't scan. RED LIGHT ALERT:eek: Snotty cow came over (not an old trout).

I have had some delivered, but as there has been trouble with strikes at the PO it might be that is the reason. there is a backlog of parcels to be cleared.

Re Mars deliveries I can't see anywhere on the site that says one per person or email only. I think they are probably just inundated. I won a rugby ball for my nephew today and would expect it within 28 days. I think probably Gill377 has got them so busy delivering for her football team they are inundated and the rest of the country will have to wait!

In my favourite Tesco, a couple of the checkout supervisors showed me coupons that got sent back un-paid because they were photocopies so I assumed each store sends their coupons to the clearing house that way they know where to send them back to. Plus how do they know how much money they have lost due to fakes and how much profit they have made from the legitimate coupons? One store I use just recently started taking coupons again after stopping them because they lost over £8000 from taking duds. I'm not trying to argumentative, I'm just trying to understand how this works.

Similar thing has happened in my favourite store too, they have a list of 6 internet mocs they won't accept any more one is the cif one with 2 bottles on, one domestos, the tumbletots one and 3 others which I don't have so not sure what they are. They will accept all the other interet I have. They have been told by manager not to take these and have a little note on their till giving the codes of the ones not to accept. They have also stopped accepting farm foods and Lidl ones. They have a new policy if it does scan they don't accept. They can't put in non scan mocs as they no longer have a non scan button! As they are really good other than this I still do ok and always stick by the rules.

    Thats interesting Coupon-Mad.

I can only speak for our store, but find it strange that any store would have the man power to sort coupons on site. A lot of small stores like Express or Metros don't even have Cash Offices, their money would be picked up and taken to a nearby store for counting.

Not wanting to argue or disagree with anyone. I will try and find out more.

Maybe we'll never find a consensus of opinion from stores about what happens with their 'dud' coupons. Confusion over policies is par for the course with Tesco, you never get the same answer do you?:D

I wonder if it is worth ONE member here actually emailing Tesco HO with this specific question? (CM possibly, since you have the most in depth knowledge) - I always use the specific store has to stock principle which means missing out on lots  of potential savings (Such as the garden £1ers that were about a few weeks ago) - Also I spend bloomin ages stalking the store trying to find each item before using the moc :rotfl:

One SA that I regularly see said don't worry if it scans we take it, the Supervisors I know have said the store has to stock it but then they could just be extra cautious ) - They trust me now so don't want to upset them, but, a definitive answer may help us all. However we don't want to deluge them with the same question....

If not CM maybe someone who has already had an answer giving the 'Open to interpretation' statement could email back to clarify that one point

  • Oh what a couple of days!!! PC died and reverted to pre-historic laptop but couldn't print coupons due to defunct disk drive and inability to load printer software to laptop. Unable to get suitable download off t'internet for drivers but saved by "paradigm" on the techie thread )god bless him/her!!) who sent me the download. Got nearly all coupons back but where's KOS gone? Link loooks dead and coupon runs to end of month! Anyone got any advice? xx (bit of sucking up there)

Whoops thought I had paid my thanks. Now glad to say up to date!

NIce to see the ABUSE button has been moved, almost had me a fair few times that.
Can't get on Mccoys site to enter my crips codes.
WARNING yesterday I typed in the mccoys.co.uk addy but missed a 'c' & got quite a fright, shock, couldn't find close page quick enough !.
Glad my children all have their own laptops or if they checked my history they're in for quite a revelation!!!! I will have some explaining to do :o

Weather is looking good, hope you all have a nice day.
