Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well? I won't make beat about the bush I have just had my worst experience yet in Mr T's.
I spent 40 minutes defending myself at the tills. The SA queried the Lidl coupon - I don not have a problem with the SA doing this as I can take it up with the supervisor etc etc.
Because today was a Bank Holiday they only had skeleton staff  Not 1 person in management/supervisor etc who knew me. Instead I got a supervisor who said I was using photocopies (the Domestos coupons) and that I had to buy the items. It just escalated and got out of hand. I have never felt so alone but I defended myself. I kept clam stuck to the facts showed my personalised email, the policy that the store sent me - which she said didn't exist even though it was signed by checkout supervisor AND SHE ACCUSED ME OF SIGNING IT  - told her I shopped there most days etc I have used the Lidl all week as it is a conditional spend but nope she refused them.
There were 3 customers behind me all watching, listening and laughing.
I feel so poop to be honest. I think it is now worse knowing that I am doing everything right but staff are saying I'm wrong and I am as good as stealing from them.
She took my name and kept my coupons seperate from the rest of the till to be checked by the cash office. I told her to ask for the DM as he knows me personally (he is on holiday, boy I wish he wasn't)
Is it really worth it guys? I'm not very good in situations like this, I get very embarrassed, tongue tied etc, I thought I was over the worst of this but I think the worst is yet to come.
:mad::mad::mad: This is serious now!
Tilly needs to come shopping with you and sort these idiots out!:D0 -
Last day for Times 55p moc...hope the new issues are here tomorrow......wasn't going to T's today but as it was next door to B& Q popped in...at checkout the supervisor came over to me and said she was so pleased to see me ,as she has been looking out for me for a couple of weeks. It was the T's that I'd had the probs re F/Foods...she said she wanted to aplogise for not taking my word for it and was glad to see me shopping there , and she hoped I had my coupons with me...no F/Foods as wasn't intending to spend £25 but had £15 worth of shopping and paid 91p. young lad said it was fab I was using mocs and could I give him the sites where they were from ...I wrote down the addresses and another Sa came over and copied them down as they are off to Uni in September and want to be able to save money themselves...so good when you don't feel like you are doing something wrong!!!
I was there too. They had also asked me where I get my coupons from. As usual i am always more than happy to teach the art of couponing. Once I was outside though and chatting with my sister I started to worry about coupon abuse among staff. I know that this is what happened at the tesco extra down the road. Young staff who know their jobs are temporary anyway. Serving each other, turning a blind eye to multiples etc.
Was it you who explained to the female SA about registering a cat, dog etc?
Hello if it is :j:j

Hey there, i know its slightly out the way but the Big esco at ..... takes all coupons no limit!
It might stop when every man and his dog beat a path to their door (and when tesco undercover agents report back to management)! I am always very wary of naming 'good' stores on a public forum - possibly better to pm anyone who asks?ELITE 5:2

awww moyilla I am sending you big hugs I Cant believe the hassle you get its unbelievable almost.
Make sure you speak to the DM as soon as he appears back from his holidays.0 -
Hiya
I wanted to ask a question about a few of the new coupons that are out just now when I was on holiday.
cow and gate
cafe direct
You know where the dialogue box comes up and asks how many you want to print are you allowed to print more than one. I am not sure as I presume if it comes up like this then they are happy for you to print more than one, and the cow and gate one says you can access it so many times so that makes me think you can use more than one too, but just wanted to check with the experts first please.
thanks0 -
