So sorry to hear your news, i have no words that will help in any way.
I had a friend who went through something similar and she was advised by another friend to take a dictaphone and record all meetings with doctors, she was greatful she did as by the time she came out of the appointments she couldnt remember half of what was said and the other half she got mixed up. It really helped her to play it back later on in the day and go over all the facts 1 by 1.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
I'm so sorry to hear that the latest news wasn't good. I'm sorry that there is nothing I can say or do that will make things better. You clearly are being a great support for your daughter in this difficult time.
I will be thinking of your daughter tomorrow.

Hi, only just seen this thread.
Really sorry that the news wasnt better, BUT
My half sister has spina Bifida and Scoliosis. When her mum (same dad, not mum) was pregnant with her, they said that she would never walk, never have children, be catherised, and have no quality of life.
My sis is now 35 yrs old, 3 children, never been catheterised, and leads a full independant life.
Hope you get more more answers tomorrow0 -

my feelings at this moment, sorry0 -
There's hope, hon...I recently met a teenage girl with spina bifida...she was in a wheelchair and had braces on her legs, but my goodness she had the most amazing attitude ever! I met her and her mother at a concert I was attending and spent a lot of time hanging out with them. It was obvious she had physical disabilities, but she didn't let them limit her at all. She was great fun to be around, very positive and all of us had an amazing time at the concert.0
