Hey Benben, I am a long time 'lurker' & have been reading your diary for a while now! You do so well, keep it up! I just read about your GHD's going kaput, and had to let you know that I am onto my third set of GHD's... Have had two sets that have broken & each time GHD's have replaced mine with a brand new set! You should look into sending yours back to get a replacement.

Hello faffit, and thankyou for posting! My old ghd's are very well used and quite battered, I've definitely had my moneys worth out of them, I've used them most days for about 4 years now and I'm not one of those people who takes great care of anything, so they've done very well to last this long tbh, so I'd feel a bit cheeky asking for a replacement, but if the new pair go wrong then I definitely will do Please don't go back to lurkdom, its easy to catch the posting bug once you start

Been thinking while I was at school today and have decided to do a 'to do list' for this week. I've got until the weekend to finish it, but too many things are building up that need doing and I just need to get on with it, so time to make a list. If I can cross off 3 or 4 things each night then I should get there

• cancel insurance for new phone
• cancel gadget helpline for new phone
• cancel gym direct debit now final payment has gone
• order new diary for school
• ironing
• clean & tidy bathroom
• clean & tidy kitchen
• clean & tidy lounge
• clean & tidy hall
• clean & tidy my room
• clean & tidy ds bedroom
• pay in cheque
• send off form for life assurance
• cancel old mobile contract
• move money between banks
• check end of month banking
• new months budgets
• file all paperwork

Should be enough to keep me busy huh! Actually a lot of it isn't as bad as it looks, its just stuff I need to get on with and cross off the list

Made a good start, have cancelled the insurance, cancelled the gym direct debit, have tidied and cleaned the bathroom (just got the floor to clean but will wait til ds is asleep or he'll walk all through it ), tidied and cleaned both bedrooms, been tidying the kitchen but it doesn't really look any different yet

Morning all Another early one here, I quite liked having the extra time yesterday morning so set the alarm a bit earlier today. I've just done a matched bet for £5 profit, the £10 challenge is looking really poor this month, so need to work towards that this week too

Thanks Hypno, I have always found I either focus on the moneymaking or the weight loss and right now it seems to be the weightloss's time However, a guy I've been chatting to online for a bit sent me a text today about meeting up for lunch soon so maybe the weightloss will pay off

Just off to collect ds from afterschool club then a few more bits off the list before a bath and another early night, am enjoying actually feeling awake during the day now

£1 profit from another bet, odds were really poor on the qufalifier so wasn't really worth the effort in the end but never mind. Another couple of offers to look at today, I want to get the lounge and kitchen done tonight too so the flat is sorted and then start thinking some more about moneymaking ideas. Tomorrow night ds has the dentist so I probably won' get a huge amount done, so am hoping to catch up on most stuff tonight instead
