Re the milage - if you are paid less than 40p a mile, you can claim the difference between what you get and the 40p on your tax return I think, and have it offset against your tax......

Hmm, not the best morning ... ds went swimming and then to his dads and that was all fine, then I went to sainsburys and spent £48 :eek: and another £5 on having the car washed while I was there I know, I know, I never take it to the car wash and always do it at mums, but it was filthy and I will take it out of the food budget. Anyway, then on to the mystery shop which was a bit of a disaster I had to take an item in to be dry cleaned and then collect in 2 days ... anyway, once I take it in they decide to mention just before I left that it had to be sent away for a specialist clean and they only get collections on a monday and because of the bank holiday it won't go until the 10th and will be back on the 17th :eek: not only that but it will cost £18.99 :eek: :eek: (reimbursement is only £10) ... have emailed the mystery shop company and am waiting to hear their response :mad:

Right, this afternoon is going to be spent doing some housework, attempting the surveys in my inbox, sorting various bits of paperwork and hopefully sorting some of ds wardrobe and getting together a few bits for ebay

Thank you Milly, I'd been entering comps for the last hour or so but hadn't seen those ones, will add it to my favourites for the rest of the month Am really hoping for a win or two soon as I seem to be entering loads of comps so hopefully something will come to fruition

Just had my bath and honest to God I think every seagull within a 20 mile radius has used my kitchen window as a toilet while I was in the bath :eek: :eek: Check out my f/b pic if you don't believe me, I've never seen anything like it :rotfl: :rotfl:I'm just pleased the window was closed at the time
