I know exactly how you feel about your ghd's, I don't know how I left the house before I got mine!
There are lots of people on ebay who repair them and buy broken ones, I got a replacement power lead for mine on there, might be worth getting your old ones repaired to sell or keep as a back up.0 -
Thankyou Alibob, will check that out as it would be useful to have a spare pair
Well today is weigh-in day and the good news is this week I have lost 3lbs, taking me to 1 stone 0.5lbs in total :j :j Once I lose anymore I will need to go down one point, but thats fine as my weight will begin with a 10 again thenSo, starting weight = 12 stone 0.5lbs, todays weight = 11 stone :T :T

Well done with the weight loss - that's brilliant:beer:
I had a sneaky peek today - showing as 3lb off too....hooray! I had a stay-the-same week so about time I said goodbye to a few pounds, I've been really good;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
:eek:Just ordered myself some GHDs from Amazon with the free bag worth £15 too:eek: I spent so long trying to tame my hair yesterday that I thought I'd give the GHDs a go - the reviews all say they straighten very quickly and it lasts...hope so;)
Have a lovely day:)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
We're back, had a very good morning, ds's swimming lesson went well, although they've changed the teacher yet again , then we went to the car boot sale and did very well, I got a set of Emma Bridgewater polka dot kitchen things (biscuit barrel, cake tin & 3 x storage jars) for £7. I have been wanting these for ages and ages but they are sooo expensive that I made do with tescos own spotty range for tea/coffee/sugar. Anyway, now I have the proper ones
I also bought 'Tell Me', a kids game I used to have, brand new and sealed for £1, and 10 books for ds (Horrid Henry, Captain Underpants, Harry Potter etc) for £1 :T :T Ds bought himself an Eddie Stobart Corgi lorry for 50p
Then we went to Sainsburys and I managed to spend £50  but that did include a nice Emma Bridgewater address book reduced from £12.99 to £3.25 which will go into the present box, as well as razor blades and other expensive but non edible bits
Just having lunch now then we may go to the beach for an hour or so, but we want to be home this afMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Milly, well done on the ghd's, am sure you won't regret it, I have hated my hair all my life until I discovered GHD's. My hair is curly and I always wanted straight "tidy" hair but never managed it until I got themMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
