It was pretty pathetic Hypno, they sent an email saying they've had to cancel due to an error blah blah and they were sorry for the inconvienience so if I'd like to call them they could help arrange a new deal ... they sent the email at 6.05pm and the phone lines close at 6pm :mad:

And I bet they don't open again until say 9am when people are in work!!! Don't you find that companies always do this? Typically bad news in the post that arrives on a Saturday, meaning you can't do anything until the Monday.

My email said "sorry, we've had to cancel......it may be because your card has been declined.....or you have failed our credit check......or because we have tried to ring you and you haven't responded"

and that was AFTER the telephone call I had from them giving me loads of "contract law states that we don't have to actually give you what we are offering" type stuff......

as you say, pathetic.

Hello Tigz, happy friday to you too! Well I just spoke to the estate agent to find out his fees and am going to do some further calculations tonight and then make a once and for all final decision about moving I have a feeling it may be a go-ahead thing, and that will mean a weekend of cleaning, gutting, trips to the tip etc ... ds is at his dads this weekend so I should be able to crack on with it. I've got a mystery shop booked in on sunday but other than that a relatively free weekend although I have a feeling it will miraculously be filled once I make my decision How about you, what have you got planned?

Just done a quick games offer that made me 50p and will get me a bonus £5 hopefully over the weekend Gonna need every penny if I do decide to go ahead
