Hmm, its not looking good Hypno is it
I had a missed call from an 0845 number today, maybe its them, not holding out much hope tbh ...
In brighter news, a friend has helped me do several m.b. offers recently and today we withdrew the profit, and after splitting their share I ended up with £72 profit which has knocked off March 2022 :j :jMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I received an email from them first thing this morning that said "due to a processing delay" my order would be despatched on 3rd instead of 2nd.
I do hope it is delivered - DD is very much looking forward to it!, and I don't really want to let her downWe'll see what tomorrow brings.....
Well done on the MB though - that is a fab haul!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

I've got £80 validated from my house insurance back in October in quidco, and £50 from my recent life insurance, but neither will pay out just yet - I think they want 6 months premiums first.......which I understand, but I would quite like the money now please!!
Quidco and TCB are more of those things that I use, but don't exploit, if you know what I mean - must get back into seeing what easy money there is to be made, if any, on that sort of thing!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Grrr, just had the bank on the phone AGAIN ... goes like this ...
Them:"hello, i'm calling you from hsbc fraud dep't, I'd just like to check some transactions on your account are genuine, can you tell me your full name and postcode"
Me: "No, you know who I am as you called me"
Them: "Yes but we cant give you the information until you have passed security checks"
Me: "But I dont want any information, you called me!"
Them: "Well if you would confirm your details then we can check the transactions for you"
Me: "But I dont want any transactions checked and how do I know who you are?"
Them: "Well if you call us on this number we can give you the information"
Me: "I dont want any information!!" (getting really annoyed now )
Them: "Well for your own security you should call as there may have been fraudulent activity on your account"
So I call them back, wait on hold for ages to finally have someone tell me that a transaction for £20 has gone through to william hill and £50 to betfair as well as a transaction earlier in the week to norton (antivirus) ... poor man got a mouthful ... £20 to william hill ... if they bothered to look back through my account they would see I deposit there at least once or twice a week and have done for about a year and usually for bigger amounts than 20 poxy quid   I politely asked him to put a note on my file saying that I do regularly use gambling websites and please don't call me every time I makea deposit at one cos I'm getting a bit fed up of it now :rotfl: :rotfl:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Benben I can understand you being cautious about giving out your name etc when they rang you however I for one am grateful that they do these random checks. Granted it seems wrong when you haven't exactly had 'suspicious' activity but I suppose its computer generated as they wouldn't have the man power to do it manually and we all know computers are not perfect. The hassle and upset caused by fraud on our bank accounts is stressful so I would rather a short check up call even if they get it wrong.0

Yeah I know KM, and I guess it is a good thing really, but I keep getting it about once a month at the moment, and I think its because I do a lot of online transactions, but surely £20 is hardly cause for concern??
They just always seem to ring when I'm getting the tea or ds is having a wobbly and I don't need itThey never ask if its convienient or if you can spare a minute, they just march straight in to their security check questions which winds me up
