Morning all
Heating went off again last night in an attempt to save a few more pennies, its not even cold this morning so I think we'll cope fine
Just been credited the free £10 from the offer I did yesterday morning and have played it through on roulette and withdrawn £13 which is a nice start to the day. 25p on the scratchcard too and I have a matched bet to sort out for later tonight.
Today we're going shopping, its Dads birthday tomorrow so I need to find something for him, and ds wants to spend his Waterstones voucher he had for Christmas.
Tigz I may get an estate agent round on saturday, I still am not sure whether the finances are going to be too tight to make it viable, I think I can just about do it but I will have absoluely zero money left afterwards and will be doubling my debts from £40k to £80kSerious decisions to be made

Posties just brought me the Davina dvd I bought from ebay and its the worst copy I've ever seen    The writing on the disc and the back of the case is completely out of focus so its unreadable and the cover is clearly a crappy photocopy onto a piece of A4 paper thats been cut with scissors o make it fit, and the cut is all wobbly  I've been over to the ebay board and it looks as though I need to go to HMV and ask them to write a letter saying its a fake as proof for paypal, I have a feeling they'll laugh at me though
This is the first time I've been duped on ebay

I received a cd that was an wafulcopy once - I went through Paypal and opened a dispute, got the money back. Could you just email the seller and tell them it's rubbish? Paypal seem to be so in favour of the buyer I'm sure you'll get it back ok:p
Grrrr to sellers like that tho.....:mad:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
I took it into HMV and the guy was really helpful. He said it wasn't even a decent attempt at a copy, and has written a statement to say so, which hopefully should be okay for paypal
Still a hassle I didn't want but am not gonna let it go.
While we were out I also got Dads present (jumper and tshirt) for £20 which comes out of my xmas fund, a new swimsuit for me (£12 in Asda) which I desperately needed, and a zip up top for ds reduced to £2.50.
Ds spent his waterstones vouchers and managed to get 4 books for £11so he's a happy bunny. Only other spend was £9 in M&S cafe for lunch

Tomorrow is Dads birthday so we're going round there at some point, and then ds will be going to his dads later in the day. I'm trying to persuade him to make him a card at the moment but he's not very keen on the ideaMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Ebay person has just replied to say she assures me it is not a fake and advises me to go to a shop and look at a copy and see they are the same, am about to reply and tell her the guy in HMV laughed at it and said it was so bad it was one of the worst fakes he's ever seen :rotfl:She said she's 'deeply offended' that I'm suggesting she'd sell fakes  but she will refund me
She wants me to return it to her, now officially s its a fake I dont have to if I report it to ebay, but tbh it might just be easier to do so. I will go and check on the ebay board and get advice as I dont want her to say she never received it back.
