We've just got back from ds friends house ans I'm knackered :o I thought we'd only be there for an hour or two but its been an all day thing, we went for a walk down the beach, had lunch and the kids played. I need to go food shopping but am too tired now.

Tonight I must clean out the piglets and tidy the lounge. Not an option, must be done. I also have no chocolate in the house which is a state that must be corrected ;)

Morning all, my tax credits have gone in today, and the extra £125 they've backdated has been duly moved to the pot, so Febs total is now looking much healthier :) Only need about £20 to get rid of May 2022 now.

I tidied a few bits away last night before I went to bed but need to get my @rse in gear and get on with it before Tigz comes over this morning :D

Tigz, I'm so so sorry about ds behaviour today, I was so ashamed of him :o After you left he was so quiet and subdued. I told him to go and pack his bag to take to Nannas and he went and did it, then crept in the room and said 'Mummy, will I be coming back again?' :o:o He was sooo nice and well behaved for the rest of the time til he went to ums, it just makes me sooo mad that he can be well behaved when he wants and he can be a monster when it suits him too

Anyway, after taking him to mums I went to Sainsburys and spent another £14 on bits for tonight when my friends come round. I have whizzed round and tidied and cleaned the flat for two hours so it is *for once* looking quite sparkly tonight :D Maybe I should invite people round more often ;)

This morning before Tigz came over I got the ironing done too, so the flat is fairly up together at the moment. Tomorrow when ds is at mums I am planning on having a paperwork day. I want to gut and bin lots of old stuff as well as doing admin jobs such as cancelling my gym membership, sorting life assurance etc. I am also planning on calling the mrotgage company and finding out about the mortgage over the phone as the online one wasn't very clear about which figures from my income they would take into account.

    Hey, don't apologise...xx

Glad he sorted himself out, and awww at him asking if he's coming back.

    How was your eve?

We had a lovely day, thank you, lunch was lovely. DD was tired last night, she fell asleep in the car coming back from my Mum's after pancakes. Must've been all that fresh sea air :D:D

Morning, glad ds was sleepy Tigz, I think they were both worn out :D
I had a lovely night last night, 4 friends came round in the end and we had a really good catch up and giggles :) And the best bit was getting up this morning and finding the flat still immaculate :j

Todays plan involves sorting tonnes of paperwork, shredding lots, filing lots and actioning all sorts of bits and pieces that need doing. Won't be the most interesting day but will feel very productive if I can get most of it done.

25p on the scratches, nothing new in the banking, time to make a coffee and get cracking :)

Good progress being made here so far; I've gutted every piece of paper in the flat, its now either filed away properly, put in my 'to action' pile or binned. I've filled three quarters of a bin liner so far, which I will take over to mums later for her to burn on her fire :)

I've also paid the water bill and just sorted out my life insurance. I've been paying £28 a month ever since ex left (4.5 yrs ago) without looking into it properly:eek:. Anyway, I've gone through quidco and for the same type of cover (but for a smaller amount of money as based on the mortgage, and was much higher at the time), it will now cost me £12.50 per month and I will get £52 from quidco too. I do need to wait for them to confirm everything so I won't cancel the old policy until the new one has started, but can't believe how much money I've wasted over the last few years :o:o

Next job on the list is to check my car insurance is all sorted, (have a niggling feeling I'm supposed to have sent some form or other back to them), then I need to pay the rest of the balance for the Devon trip, a few other bits and pieces, then get on the phone about the mortgage :)

I'm on a roll today, I've sorted the car insurance, finally got round to sending off to get a new driving licence (still have a paper one and have moved house 4 times since that address on it :o), have paid off the rest of the Devon trip, done all surveys from my inbox, submitted another electricity reading and cancelled my gym membership :j :j

I now have a couple of bits I need to print out and post, call the dentist (keep putting this one off :o), and finally call about the mortgage. I didn't think I'd even get half way through my list today so am sooo chuffed to have got so much done already. It makes such a difference having a tidy flat so why why why can I never keep it tidy? :(
