The same thing is happening to me. I sent my request to cancel my contract and return the phone on 1 Aug (9 days after my purchase, so within the 14 days limit) and after 10 days of chasing with more emails and zero replies, I finally managed to speak to returns yesterday (1hr and 20 mins in the queue). Guess what ? They told me that the 14 days have now passed and "it's out of their hands"! I could not believe it... they told me to email "supervisor@mobiles.co.uk"... and guess what (2)? It's now been another 3 days and no reply. In the meantime O2 have started to happily cash in my monthly payments for a mobile which is still in its original package and I desperately want to return but I can't.

    Definitely not impressed.
    HELP!

Ben, since you have replied to all the threads in this post, could you please reply to me as well?
  • I think you have all learnt a valuable lesson (as I did some time ago) dont buy contract from some shoddy crappy internet company likes mobiles.co.uk!

How do you cancel a mobiles.co.uk order easily, cheaply and simply that hasn't yet been processed/despatched?

Just called, waited 10 mins, call answered, order cancelled.

Phew, looks like I saved myself a lot of grief that just wouldn't be worth it.

  • And I'm STILL waiting for a reply. 4 hours............yeah right! :(
  • I think mobiles.co.uk are getting rather alot of unfair stick here. Firstly they were the first retailer to assist people with the Orange situation over the last few weeks and as such deserve thanks for the way they asissted. Secondly I purchased an Orange contract through mobiles.co.uk in May and their customer service was exemplary. I just wish they had been able to offer me as good a deal as I just got with another retailer - would of very happily returned as a customer!
