  • What need to be done before the September deadline?

Do I have to sign everything and send it back by then or just complete the online application part?
  • I've only opened the instant saver for the Clubcard points. Do the points come as one £10 (or whatever) voucher for anything off in the store? Or is it a combination of several vouchers amounting to £10, one maybe for lesser amount for off anything, then the rest for specific items that you'd need to buy for the offer the voucher gives?

    Thanks.

The bonus points just get added to your clubcard account, so will be issued to you in the normal way. They aren't restricted to use on anything in particular (unless of course you choose to boost your vouchers by doubling or quadrupling them in line with their offers, so would then need use them against specific goods).
  • Just completed the application form online. How long will it take to receive something in the post? I take it nobody else has received a confirmation e-mail?
  • The whole process was very long winded. You get the form which you sign ans sent witha cheque. Then letter, then an ATM card, then ages later a PIN (or maybe 2). Then an activation code for online if you asked for that. Then to do anything you have to order a card reader-so first the card arrives, then the reader, then a PIN. Hhhhhhh.

In the absence of any instructions in the letter they sent me, I made mine out to 'Tesco Personal Finance'.
  • Thanks YorkshireBoy, I will do the same

I made it out to myself, but have no idea whether that was the right decision or not, as the cheque hasn't come out yet and I haven't received the account details!

  • If they follow industry standards, then you should make it payable to yourself. Or at least Tesco Personal Finance re: your name.
