  • Who do I make the cheque out to? so I can make my £1 deposit. I can't find anything on the paperwork I received today.

  • Reading back through the thread, is it a waste of time me sending the form back? Have I missed it for the club points?

Should the cheque be made out to myself or Tesco personal finance? it's a bit confusing.

It says in the accompanying welcome booklet to make sure all cheques are made payable to yourself.

I wouldn't like to comment on whether it is too late to send the form back. Tesco may well honour late applications in respect of the increased demand. It isn't uncommon for this to happen for savings accounts promotions (both the AA and West Bromwich BS did this for me).

I'd still go for it, and make a formal complaint if you're refused the points. After all, today is the 16th and the offer is still on their website (great ammunition...you can shoot them with their own gun!).

Not confusing at all. From mine and others' posts, it seems that it doesn't matter what you put on the cheque it'll still be cashed and paid to your account.

Haven't read the booklet, but does that not relate to further cheques posted once the account is opened and after the initial deposit has been made?

As I said earlier in the thread mine was made out simply to "Tesco Personal Finance" and was cashed without delay.
  • I've made it out to Tesco Personal Finance and will post it tomorrow.

Possibly, but surely it wouldn't make any difference whether it was your initial deposit or not?
  • Picked up a leaflet in store today and looks like they've extended the offer, hurray! - http://www.tescofinance.com/personal/finance/savings/index.jsp
