I can travel anytime after 7pm on the 25th but need to leave after 12pm on the 28th. It doesn't matter what time i arrive.
The cheapest fair i have found so far is £101.30 any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
try checking here
http://www.crosscountrytrains.co.uk/ I think its the late leaving time from Glasgow that may be hindering you here though on your outward journey"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
£97.50 checking out the above suggestion.0

Hi all
I want to book tickets to Manchester. I had today marked in my diary is it is 12 weeks today we wish to travel, and I thought it was 12 weeks before the advance single tickets went on sale. I've gone onto East Coast this morning and they have not got the cheaper fares yet, in fact I've looked a few weeks back and there is no cheap fairs after the middle of May.
Has anyone any idea when I should look back? There's a big group of us going, and it's to see Take That so I think the train will fill pretty quick.

12 weeks is a ruff guide and sometimes it can be later, especially if your travelling over the weekend. It's also dependant of which Train company you want to travel with; ie East Coast tickets normally released their advance tickets earlier than Arriva Trains Wales.
If I knew where you were travelling from, dates and numbers I could give you a better answer, but use this website to help. Advance tickets normally released on a Thrusday afternoon or Friday morning.
Also for group travel look at group save, it might be cheaper or have better flexibility for travelling than Advance tickets.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -

Thanks. I've looked on there but it says the tickets are on sale. Strange.
We're going from Hull, 08/06 returning 09/06, and there are 8 of us.0 -

Just had a look and First Transpennine Express who release the Advance tickets for that route are only up to the 20th May. But once released the tickets are £10 each way per person and there's lots of time options during the day.
Unfortunately Group travel discounts for Transpennine Express require at least 10 passengers.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -

That's fab, thanks for looking. I'll just have to keep checking back.0 -
