I need help with a trip from Ipswich to looe on the 23/04/ and a return on the 07/05, it's coming in at £83.50.
Any help getting it cheaper would be great.
Thanks for any help.

Through Advance Singles are available...
out at £43.00, and back at £30.00.
Total = £73.00.
By splitting at Stratford and Exeter St Davids,
total can be brought down to £64.50.
Maybe try splitting elsewhere for something cheaper, but it is the Easter travel that keeps the price high.0 -
can any one advise the cheapest return train fare from Hubberts Bridge Lincoln to Southend?
for my son who will be coming home on weekend leave at times from the RAF. Friday pm to Sunday pm probably. I have done a little research but get quite confused!0 -

With an HM Forces Railcard, that fare drops to £12.65* each way.
That railcard costs £15.00 for 12 months, so it will pay for itself sometime during the second trip home.
*to get those fares, you must book via East Coast Trains website.0 -
Hi Everyone, Thanks in advance for having a read and for any ideas/advice/train times!!
I have done the split stations booking several times before, for myself and others, but this time it all seems to be getting confused and mixed up and I just can't see what im doing wrong!!! LOL
Im trying to a get a rail ticket from Birmingham - Edinburgh, leaving on 30th March returning 1st/2nd April.
Tried different splits, Bham-Preston etc, I think I have found something to find it's only valid with this train company or whatever, if I do have to change then couple hour wait for connection etc....it hasn't happened before like this!!
Thanks again!0 -

have a hunt about on here.. http://www.crosscountrytrains.co.uk/
Lots of direct singles for 49.50 but if you buy a railcard that will reduce the price greatly for you if you qualify for one that is"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
Hi all! Just a quickie... heading to Manchester airport from Glasgow in April, cheapest fares coming in at £51 return (which is fair enough I reckon!) but can anyone tell me if you can actually get Megatrain tickets for travel from Scotland? It just redirects me to Megabus - not sure if there's an alternative way to book, if it's a glitch in the site, or if I'm just wasting time as they don't do Scotland!
Any info most gratefully received, thank you kindly x0 -

I don't think u can get megatrain but u can get megabus but not to the airport only to Manchester city centre then u would have to get the train to the airport.
What about national express they would take you right to the airport from Glasgow.0
