I've recently used envirofone and had no problems. But my husband then sent his phone in in good condition but it was rejected because the screen was cracked (which it wasn't when he sent it in). He has had it returned but now it is useless as the screen is pretty damaged and they kept the charger he sent in! Not a great experience.0

Deleted all my files on the memory card, removed the sim, and fully charged the battery. Phone turns on as usual with a 'insert sim' message. Is this all I need to do now? Just want to make sure I have forgotten to do anything else before I put it in the jiffy bag and send it off.....0

Thinking of sending a few different phones off to envirophone or some form of phone recyclers.
1 question... and i doubt the answer would be yes
do they accepted blocked phones, i had an upgrade with o2, it didnt arrive after a week so i rang them and they sent a new one and said not to worry they would block the 1st one sent. new one arrived worked fine and about 2 weeks later so did the original, but not as they promised from a courier.
anyways rang o2 told them and they said not to send it back as they had blocked it anyway. so whilsts having a clear out i found they blocked phone which has been doing nothing for about 4 months and thought i might see if i can send it to them, but says nothing on there site and wondering if anyone could enlighten me.

I recently received the envelopes from envirofone to send my 3 phones to them. I then read the terms and conditions and it states, if they receive any phone which has been reported as stolen, then they have the right to alert the authorities.
My 3 phones being ones that my mates had found which had been blocked which i had acquired.
I'm just a bit worried about sending them now. I was offered £120 odd for all 3..
What I do? :rotfl: RBS Overdraft - £700

Reply to dazz7400 - And how did your mate find those phones?
I mean if they are blocked and you suspect them to be stolen, the right place for them is with the police and then hopefully the rightful owners.0 -
If it turns on, and includes back panel and battery and has no *major* damage, they will accept.
Check out https://www.fonebank.com, they have better rates for some phones.
I sent my old one in for £26. Woohoo!
