I have found however that phones sent in at the same time can often be processed days apart. Give it time

yeah they took ages to credit me too. Much longer then the specified timescale

You can phone them and 'chase them up'

Hi,
I've been a member of envirofone for over a year and have successfully sent many phones in to them.
Recently I sent them a Sony Erricsson and a few days later I wasnt able to login to my account it kept saying "..Username does not exist".
I contacted customer services twice on Monday and I was told my account must of been deleted because of an error in the system!
On Tuesday they had not rang me back, So I had to ring there 0870 number again and I was told again it WILL be sorted out and restored with all my points there (Over £100) .. They also said its fine to send in any phones you have traded in.
I then sent another sony erricsson for £50 (I had to send it in soon as the price is currently at £20 on the site now)
Today, After still not being able to login I rang back up (It was an 0870 number aswell!) They said the manager will now ring the IT manager and my points and account details are all safe.
I'm just angry that I cant get a clear answer.. I just keep getting told the same thing each time I ring, The thing im most worried about are my points not being restored becuase then I will have lost over £100!
Aghhhhhhhhhhhhh! Rant over! :mad:0 -

Sent my immaculate ZTE to envirophone expecting a decent argos token amount.
BUT it was rejected as the SIM is glued in:mad:
THat is how it came (from argos!) and apparenty it doesn't meet their terms (doesn't say this in the comments) and is only worth £5.....
Asked them to send it back.0 -
I've just sent them my phone. I must admit i have never come across a sim card glued in. Maybe you should raise this with argos.Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. ~ Mother Teresa0

Sim cards may be glued in to prevent box breaking. This is where cheap PAYG mobiles are sold in large quantities, then the phones are sold separately from the sim card. People doing this can make a lot of money so they decided the possible work around is to glue the sim in then people are less likely to do this boxbreaking.
