Oh and I want to reduce a bit for September so am setting the budget at £130Official DFW Nerd Club - Member #398 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T
CC: £6412.95 (0% APR until Feb 2015 which I'm hoping is also my DFD!)
Currently awaiting the outcome of a PPI claim which may bring forward my DFD, fingers and toes crossed!0 -
... Did anyone reply to my question about using chard? I have loads of the stuff which is a bit too mature to put in a baby leaf salad! Do you cook it like spinach? I don't want to waste it. ...
here's a thread that might help, Moniker, Chard - help need recipes!!
I'll add it to the complete cooking collection tonight as we have nothing at all on chard and its in season right now... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Morning everyone - logging on to declare total for AUG GC £228.15, really pleased as I had increased target to £300 as I thought we would use more with the kids being on Hols but I didn't allow for the fact that I wouldn't be paying out for School Dinners and also decided to use up the contents of one of my Freezers which has also helped keep the total down.:j Oh and also using salad, potatoes etc from the Garden has been a big help.:D
MRSMC - can you please put me down for SEPT £250.
Good luck to everyone and I'll see you on the Sept GC when it's up and running.;)"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!"GC for OH, myself, DD18 & DD16 includes Toiletries, cleaning stuff & Food.

MRS M could you put me down for £155 for Sept and Failed for Aug.
I lost the plot during Aug but even though I put failed for Aug I'm not too disapointed because I know that if I had not been on the GC I would have spent alot more. Note to self try harder next month.
Going to make a list of freezer and try and use as much from there as poss.GC July £250/0 -
I'm doing rather well so far
I have resisted the urge to go to the shops on my way home :j
I've asked Mr FH to buy kitchen roll, milk, yoghurt and bread today so will report on how much that cost later. I did warn him not to be tempted by extras, but I'm not sure he will :rolleyes:Need to start again0 -
Good Morning everyone
Can I please declare for AUG at £80.52 :T:T
And can you put me down for £80.83 again in Sept please.
