The Ten Commandments

Since getting my lightbulb moment in February, I've become addicted to this site, and the DFW threads in particular. As a result, I've become a nerd, joined the £2 savers club, take part in the monthly budget challenges and joined the fat-free wannabe cuddle.
But it's getting worse!
I have spreadsheets for everything. I feel smug every time I drop my loose change into my pennies jar. I indulge in competitive shopping at the supermarket against complete strangers who don't know that I'm peering into their trolleys and laughing at the fact that my baked beans are cheaper than theirs.
Now this! I've drawn up a list of commandments!
1. Thou shalt not buy branded items - Smart Price is just as good.
2. Thou shalt not get the bus, thou lazy a**e. Save your money and walk!
3. Thou shalt forget the location of Waterstones and learn to love the library.
4. Thou shalt not buy lunch - thou shalt take healthy home-made food into work instead.
5. Thou shalt NOT buy those shoes - thou already hast five pairs of black shoes, so get them re-heeled instead.
6. Thou shalt not go shopping because thou "desperately needeth" a new suit for work. Thou shalt have a look on ebay or in charity shops instead and then thou shalt feel smug and clever at getting a bargain.
7. Thou willst findeth a bottle of Stardrops if it killeth thou.
8. Thou shalt honour the (Money) Bible and studieth it daily.
9. When thou art feeling full of self-pity or generally down, thou willst log on and get inspiration from other DFWers.
10. Thou willst get through this!
Any other useful Commandments?

Another one?
11. Spending is not saving - However much you may be saving by buying this item now, you are still spending to buy it!!
Esp. relevant when you see the threads for IPod for only £7.99!!! You don't need an IPod!!!
Or a new coat in the sale reduced from 79.99 to £29.99 - You're still spending 29.99, NOT saving £50!!!Noli nothis permittere te terere
