I have heard OK reports about Be Broadband, which are one of the ones listed. See if there is any cashback with Quidco or others. My 02 changeover went so smoothly I cannot believe it, absolutely first class so far. So it's Adios Primus.

My o2 went smoothly as well, just a shame that Primus is so far behind with their billing, my line rental and calls are going back to BT on the 14th November, but believe it or not, the last bill from Primus on the 8th Oct, had calls and broadband billed to the 14th August, with line rental billed to the 14th September.

Either there will be one last big bill after the 14th Nov (broadband switched to o2 on the 3rd Oct), or it is going to feel like forever being billed by Primus, long after switching.

I have never heard of a company being so behind on their billing, and this was after the being billed every 3 weeks nonsense as well, i for one, will be glad to see the back of Primus, and the endless excuses that has come with their service, especially in the last 12 months or so.

It is really annoying, and obviously on a low income, a concern, having to find money for Primus, as well as my new suppliers, who are billing on time.

What started out as a friendly service, has turned into one, that from my experience, no longer care.

I will be glad, when the last bill comes in and is paid, then bye bye Primus, mind you lets see (since the last 12 months of bills have been wrong) if they can get the end date of broadband correct, and i'm not charged for a service i no longer have, but i don't hold my breath on that one!

I am hoping to commence the process today of moving to O2 as I received my MAC from Primus on Saturday 1st November. I also have to sort my parents broadband provider as they are with Primus and I have to move them to O2.

Think you will be pleased with 02 changeover, they make it very easy, once you get the date. Good luck!

I telephoned O2 broadband earlier but their system was down. I telephoned them in the last 30 minutes and apparently I will have O2 broadband within the next 2 weeks. I haven't changed my Mum & Dads over yet, hoping to do it for them either tomorrow or Friday. :beer:

Apparently I am going to have a delivery from O2 on Thursday 6th November and my O2 broadband will be live on Tuesday 11th November 2008, if it happens it will only have taken one week. :j I must get my calls sorted.

don't forget the free laptop offers with these companies...why not get your mum a new lappy for christmas...tell her its a freebie but that you instantly thought "I know I'll give this to mum" or sell it on ebay...but I am sure it would make someone a lovely present for christmas...

I telephoned them on the freephone number and got mine there and then over the phone ! But I had to wait till near the end of my contract.
