Not a chance! As I mentioned on a thread about hand-washing clothes, I'm not looking for extra work.

Only time I ever had to re-wash something was when a pigeon pooed on my clean duvet cover:mad:.

lol a bunch of mixed responses :)

Having only had to think about it today I think I will leave lightly drizzled washing out to dry but hours and hours of down pour I may rinse/spin again :)

  • i would only rewash if it got pooped on or if it was long towels or bedding that hang lower that got caught in a really wet downpour as it may of got mud splashes at the bottom that has only happened once as i was out all day so could not get in and my lawn at the time was a more of a mud pit lol
    Still Trying :o

No if its really rained it goes through the spinner. My mum used to put it through the wash again, but I have just way too much washing to be doing that:o

Something I've never really thought about until we got an outdoor rotary line recently ... I've just put freshly washed bed linen out to dry and we've just had a 5 minute light shower while it was out ... now I don't know whether to wash it again or not?!

no, i wouldn't, it will still be fresh and clean.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
My Mum always referred to this as giving the washing a "heavenly rinse" - and no, I wouldn't - and don't! - re-wash!

I think it depends how close you live to a city - I imagine rain is dirtier near city centres due to all the pollution in the air?

Never washed it again but if I am home I have been known to run out to the line like a madwoman pulling it all off,.. then 10 mins later put it all back when the blasted sun comes out...:rotfl:

lol yeah that sounds familiar
