Will the sims work in a normal handset, say a 6310i or 3510i etc?

I only want the o2 coverage, and don't need video feeds and other nonsense ;)

    Cheers, Des.

Not straight out of the box - you have to get it modified somehow. I'm sure someone can explain fully.

Anyway you don't need to use the video features. This particular phone has very limited video capability. I just the phone instead of my landline. By staying in one place when you make a call it doesn't matter if you are on O2 or Three - it will just pick whats available.
  • Thanks for that

Never heard of linemypocket before...how do I know I can trust them....other people used them ok?

I use linemypocket all the time and I find that they are much quicker in releasing your cash than greasypalm(whom I don't bother with any more) and you can access your cash as soon as you get to a fiver...none of this waiting to get to £25!
I think they are really good and have never had any probs with them.
You do have to disable Norton ad blocking while you use the links, but again, no problem. :D

Just to let everyone know, if you call an 0870 or 0845 number this is free within your 500 free mins! A great extra bonus, I have been saving a great deal over the last few months doing this! I noticed that some1 a while ago said you couldn't dial these numbers free, I can assure you that you can!

I ordered one of these phones recently and in the box all I recieved was a Reciept for the phone, a Reciept accepting £20 for old phone and a standardised Welcome to CPW A4 leaflet (and a seperate TalkTalk advert). How do I get my cashback from £30 to £2.99. When I have ordered from dialaphone they sent a voucher which I send with a bill to claim cash back. Have CPW forgotten to include these or am I expected to send bill of my own accord with a covering letter?

    Thanks.

I am using 3-phone on contract for past 6 months. Intially 0845 and 0870 were part of inclusive mins, but since Nov 10th, they are charging for these calls at 10 pence/min. It is the same case with my friends who are also with 3 network for over 6 months.

Better check if your inclusive mins are decreasing after you make a 0870 call. If they are decreasing then, they are part of inclusive calls.
  • am i right in thinking that you can only use this as a phone if you plug a headset in? or having it on loud speaker?
Or do you know if you can use it like a normal mobile?
    any help would be great

No - you are wrong travelchick. You can use it as a phone by holding it up to your ear like any other phone!
In addition to that you can use the loudspeaker, a handset, a bluetooth etc etc.

I got some paper work with mine, although I seem to have mislaid it. You should therefore get onto CPW to send something.  Details of the redemtion are available by clicking on the offer banner on the CPW home page, then "terms and conditions". Basically you get the cash by redemtion at months 6 and 12
