Fyffes, while you are talking about providing evidence, can you please provide links to the two OFT investigations that you claim have taken place?

    Thanks.

Zoena, if you sent that email this morning I'd suggest you give them the full 48 hours to reply. In my experience they almost always replied (to be fair) but it always took a couple of days.

Unfortunately you can't rush them along (they clearly won't be in a hurry to refund you) and you have to remember that you need to appear to have dealt with this in a reasonable and professional manner. I'd imagine they are more likely to realise that you're prepared to see them in court if you do things by the book instead of ranting at them.

Patience is the key here. It worked for me and quite a few others anyway.

Zoena, it was a long time ago but I think it took me about three weeks to get my £19.95 back. I can't stress enough how important it is to get everything in writing with this lot. Once they realise you are amassing evidence against them they should relent.

Of course you could just follow the advice of the poster who believes that telephone conversations are the way to resolve this. But where would that leave you if you were ever asked to provide evidence to an investigating party? It would purely be your word against theirs.

Just relax and let this take it's natural course.

im always one for documented evidence thats why i got my other half to push for written confirmation etc, even when he said on the phone to me they would confirm cancellation i still said i wanted it posted as well! my dad always taught me that if its in print theres no getting out of it and that principle has stood me well for my 34 years on this planet! i have copies of every email sent to them and all the replies so far (one!) in a sub folder already in outlook :)

the only money my other pays out of this account is our rent which he does online every week and the savings money of £25 which went out etc.. !!!

Not being funny.... But only a couple debits out of a account and your o/h was not aware of that rewardsnow was one of them.
Checking a account is not just about balancing the amoutns its also about looking at the debits.

    No wonder he's fuming....

As to how to get your money back. You are in the hands of rewards now.
Your bank can't help you. Unless they debited after March when you cancelled.
Prior to that well you O/H can go to the police. But all that will do is give the person on the desk a good story for the guys in the back. Rewards now have done nothing illegal or against the law.
Never ASSUME anything its makes a

Nicely done. Always good to hear about somebody tightening the noose around their necks. You now have them boxed into a corner with nowhere to run. Please let us know how it goes over the next few days.

Dalesrider you simply must stop this now. I've asked you for evidence to substantiate your claims and you've ignored them. Your silence speaks volumes and that should be the end of it.

Despite this, you simply could not resits the temptation to attempt to effectively cyber bully on this thread could you? You seriously need to grow up my friend. You've already made a fool of yourself here and I suggest it's time for you to move on. Nobody is impressed with your insistence on pointing out the obvious. And the bullying is completely out of order. If you have nothing helpful to say, kindly go away.
