Did you get started with the painting dc?
My next target is the living room...when we moved in here it was all magnolia, cos the owners wanted it neutral, but i prefer a bit of the old colour on the odd wall here and there!!Pay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -
Morning
Paint brush still looking at me Kirsten ! But I did something ever so scary yesterday, Tesco's had some Ovenpride for £4.83, after reading on here and dooyoo about how this product will make my oven so beautiful I set to work !
Let's just say I think I need two applications !
A day off today, done a bit of job hunting, really is very little round here.
I have dressed for painting ! I so want this house to be a nicer place to be, just clutter and half hearted attempts at DIY everywhere. I need to do the living room aswell.
Nothing is going to get done unless I do it though. So am going to set the paint free !DC.

Hello world.
Painting acheived ! Now need to continue the plan and do the next room - adjoining the newly painted hall/porch - downstairs toilet.
Am very pleased at leccy/gas bills, although estimated and undercharged by £50 they under half of last years bills for the same period, but I actually got my figures right and am successfully budgeting for the November bill.
Smoking - have been reading the e - cigarette thread. If anything it's put me off them. I see it as another habit forming experience. There is talk of smoking juice drips...
Snowball playing again, tweaked here and there and am now aiming for August 2013. 48 months. Can do this - if I stop smoking....
A mountain of monotonus chores to do today, but the sun is shining so things are good.DC.

Well a busy weekend, prepaing house for visitors.
Kirsten I too fought with the lawnmower, I'm not very good at it. Back garden was once used by previous owners as vegetable garden, whover laid the lawn didn't level it. Add one mad dog and his treasure of bones, a magnolia tree that is forever shedding equals recipe for lawn disaster. It looks decidely punkish.
Turfy I'm still battling with the nicotene, tomorrow never comes though.
More painting will happen next week, once visitors have left. On the financial front. I am not doing well . With said family arriving, it sort of puts things off balance. Payday is 10 days away. Although I know we will go out to eat several days. Food/teenagers/visitors puts pressure on the purse. I can manage but have dipped into utility bill savings. To be replaced at earliest convienience.(sp?)
Need to put positive head on, feel a little stressed and wound up after running around all weekend. And work beckons...DC.
