Have maintained empty ironing basket for nearly a week, washing basket only a third full, is a triumph !
Amazoned a pile of books that DH bought from a carboot, all cricket based, not got high hopes, if they don't go I'll have to charity shop them.
Everybody fed and watered. I am pleased with progress today, def in a better mood.
Early night I think.DC.

Morning DC,
Sounds like you had a cracking couple of days. It's amazing what can be accomplished when entering the 'zone'.
Particularly impressed with the washing and ironing baskets.
I have been solidly working away at my washing basket too and just beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel. The lovely weather over the last few days has definitely helped.
Hope you have a great week.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
Great night's sleeep. Alcohol free doing wonders for my shut eye.
Jobs, watched first half of Dispatches last night about the middle class executives that have been made redundant from jobs where they were earning £85k etc and face £12k school fees, two cars and villas in France. One guy had made 500 job applications in one month and had one interview.
Gosh you've got to have some strong resolve to keep going at it, so much more competitive at that end of the scale. But I guess it's choice. They don't really have one, got to keep going, I guess. Sometimes I'm thankful my life is a lot simpler.
Nothing on my 'career' horizon, I search daily, and it usually re-iterates the fact I need some training of some sort. Still want to master a new language.
But feeling good, lots of little jobs acheived yesterday, more planned for this afternoon.
Right dog and me off for some deep meaningful thinking round the fields.DC.

I know several people who are out of work now, who previously would have thought they were in a good career for life. Although people say there are signs of the recession ending, it doesn't give that impression to those who are job hunting.
I am glad you have been sleeping better - it makes a huge difference to the rest of life!

Kirsten, you need a dvd, only thing that gets me through it, particularly if Leonardo or Will Smith are in it

Wake up to find wages in bank account :j. Quidco tracked £15 and £4.00 in Amazon sales. All good for debt busting.
A friend has sorted the bump on my car out, bit of T-Cut and cleverness just need a touch up pen. I'm really hoping the other car would have needed the same, not heard from owner yet.
